«©NCSX» Five years after Rorona did her thing in Rorona no Atelier Arland no Renkinjutsushi, the pink-haired alchemist is older, wiser, and has taken on an apprentice. Rorona's new trainee is a 13-year old girl named Totori Helmold who has the appetite for alchemy and a yen to find her missing mother who was an adventurer in her own right. Since Rorona has taken Totori under her wing, she endeavors to help her young apprentice not only with the alchemical arts but also with the search for her mom.

   The setting is the Republic of Arland which provides the backdrop upon which Totori explores, conquers enemies, and procures her ingredients. The "Adventurer's License" system is in effect where passage to certain parts of Arland is only granted if Totori's license is advanced enough. Totori can increase the level of her license by exploring the land and making new discoveries in the course of her alchemical adventuring. The supporting cast includes a lad named Jeeno Knab who grew up with Totori and a gal named Mimi Houlier von Schwarzlang who's haughty, refined, and has an odd sense of fashion.

   The Playstation Vita port of Totori no Atelier includes new game modes and previously released PS3 DLC game content for fans of the original game to enjoy. Early preorders will include a bonus DLC swimsuit for use in the game. In addition to the normal edition of Totori, a Premium Box edition which includes a crystal paperweight is available for preorder. Reservations are welcome to ship on November 29, 2012.

   Pandora's Tower blends RPG elements with action-packed gameplay as you take on the role of Aeron, an Athosian soldier facing a deeply personal and emotionally charged mission. With your friend, Elena, bound to a grave fate that is causing her to mutate into a demonic abomination, you'll feel the pressure of time and the rush of accomplishment as you take up the fight to eradicate the spreading evil that has gripped her.    As you progress, the weight of Elena's predicament will spur you on, her physical appearance becoming more grotesque the longer it takes you to overcome each tower. «©NCSX» New and factory boxed copy of Mappy for the Game Gear which was released nearly 2 decades ago. The title character "Mappy" is a rodent policeman who wears a blue uniform and wields a club. Mappy's beat is a quaint domicile where a gang of thieving cats have holed up with their ill-gotten loot. Mappy roams around the six-story house and retrieves valuables while a gang of mangy cats are in hot pursuit. A number of trampolines located on the ground floor may be jumped upon to vault to any of the floors when Mappy's on the rebound.

NCS' remaining inventory is brand new and factory boxed from our original warehouse inventory from the Spring of 1991. Please note that although the games are new, there is some slight scuffing on some of the boxes and we can't grade them in mint condition. All of our remaining copies are however in very good condition with structurally sound boxes.

«©NCSX» Girl gamers are a growing force in the marketplace and Idea Factory has been more progressive than most of their publishing kin in catering to the female audience. Idea Factory went so far as to create a separate gaming label dubbed Otomate that's dedicated to serving girl gamers with a steady diet of interactive romance games. The latest in the release line-up is Hakuouki: Zuisouroku where players take on the role of a medieval maiden named Yukimura Chizuru who's surrounded by hunky and chiseled boys. She's on a mission to Beijing to find her missing father. Some of the guys in the game look like girls but maybe that's how they bred them way back in the day.

Similar to other Otomate games, Hakuouki: Zuisouroku is presented as an interactive adventure where characters converse, experience events, and forge bonds during the course of the drama. User input is fairly limited and players are primarily relegated to the role of a viewer who reads the onscreen conversations and stares at the examples of manhood that appear on screen. The voice acting by deep-voiced actors injects an additional sensory dimension to the overall romance antics.

Shooting Game Historica 3 - New Import, Split Shipments

©NCSX» Over the past year, the Shooting Game Historica series of toys has been some of NCS' most popular products. We get to sell the gashapon sets which are packaged in plastic capsules and then we also peddle the "SP" re-renditions which are boxed in fancy cardboard containers. It's sort of like selling the same toys twice. Yujin released the third set of Shooting Game Historica toys last month which feature ships from another six games as follows:

Please note that Yujin only shipped the Raiden mk-II in red and canceled production of the blue variant toy. New features on some of the ships are movable parts - for example, hatches on the submarine open up to reveal weaponry and the Ceaser's cockpit transforms.

NCS received the first batch of Shooting Game Historica Vol. 3 yesterday and preorders have begun shipping out. Please note however that some shipments of this particular toy haven't arrived yet although they should be delivered within the next few days. Since we haven't received the entire shipment of toys yet, we're holding off on the obligatory photo gallery since filling preorders takes priority.
