The femme fatales from King of Fighters Maximum Impact 2 bare their souls in Yujin's gashapon collection. The gals featured in the set are as follows (From left to right in the group photo): Athena Asamiya, Ninon Beart, Lily Kane, Kula Diamond, Mai Shiranui, and B. Jenny. The figures measure approximately 4" tall and are constructed from parts that are bolted and plugged together. The quality is surprisingly good given the low price point of gashapon toys and the girls wear detailed clothing and have faces that are painted perfectly. «NCS Photo Gallery»

PS3 Launch Advisements Pending

Suppliers in Japan and Hong Kong will update NCS about any shortages or price changes for the PS3 in the next couple of days. Sony recently dropped the launch quantity in Japan from 100,000 to 80,000 units which bodes ill for the availability of the console although we haven't received any alerts or notices yet. Please wait for further news.
We are perturbed with the pricing situation at one H.K. based retailer which is supplying 20GB PS3 models at US$1499 and 60GB units at US$1899. It's doubtful that NCS' pricing will reach those levels although we're guessing things will take an "anything goes" atmosphere soon.

USA Release Outlook

NDS Elite Beat Agents leads preorders for the week. Although the game is based on NDS Tatakae Osu Ouendan, Nintendo has Americanized the game with "Western" characters and a storyline about a secretive agency that helps hapless citizens in need of assistance. The gameplay runs the same as Ouendan with tap-tap action and the occasional stylus swerve. PS2 Sega Genesis Collection includes 28 games from the 16-bit era such as Shadow Dancer: The Secret of Shinobi and Vectorman 2.
