TOYS One Piece Portrait of Pirates Neo-DX Boa Hancock Preorder

NCS Preorder Synopsis - Update: April 08, 2010
«©NCSX»
Boa Hancock is a svelte and stylish woman who's a member of the Shichibukai - a group of seven pirate captains allied with the World Government. Her other credentials include being a Gorgon sister and Empress of the Amazon Lily island.

Megahouse inducts Boa Hancock into the One Piece Portrait of Pirates collection of toys with a 1/8 scale figure sculpted by Ajiken which measures 23cm (9.05") tall. Boa is dressed in a shiny red china-ish dress that's accompanied by a pink sash that's wrapped around her slender waist. The split on the side of Boa's dress allows her to show a lot of leg and a pair of red pumps cradle her feet. To give Boa a royal appearance, a regal cape drapes down her shoulders. The figure is packaged with a replacement face and extra hands. Preorders are welcome to ship in mid-late August 2010 at JPY6800 or US$82.90 from NCS.

TOYS One Piece Portrait of Pirates Neo-DX Franky - Preorder

NCS Preorder Synopsis - Update: April 08, 2010
«©NCSX» Prior to becoming a member of the Straw Hat Pirates, Franky was a ship wrecker and leader of Franky Family. His cyborg body helped Franky excel at his job and gave him inordinate strength as well as the ability to fire projectiles from his various body parts. When Franky is introduced in the One Piece animated series, he's an antagonist who's gang has robbed Usopp of a substantial amount of money. Luffy and crew confront Franky Family but an episode involving CP9 and its leader Spandam brings the two sides together as allies.

Franky aka Cutty Flam originally appeared in the Portrait of Pirates Neo-2 series and he was relatively scrawny in that first incarnation. When Franky returns to the P.O.P. fold under the Neo-DX series, he's gotten big. Massive, even. Franky has become brutish with sinewy muscles that bulge out from his body and he carries himself with a million-dollar smile. A thick jacket is slung across his shoulders and he wears a bikini bottom but that's all the clothing Franky wears. Preorders are welcome to ship in mid-late August 2010 at JPY8800 or US$98.90 from NCS.

That's good for at least 3 copies sold. Preorders are welcome to ship on June 24, 2010 at JPY5800 or US$63.90 from NCS.

Wii SD Gundam Gashapon Wars - Import Preorder

NCS Preorder Synopsis - Update: April 08, 2010
«©NCSX» Gashapon are those little capsule toys that are squeezed out of vending machines in Japan. Drop the yen into the machine, crank out the gashapon, and revel in the little toy that pops out. Bandai is a major peddler of gashapon toys in Japan. Bandai also happens to own one of the hottest properties in Japan. SD Gundam Gashapon Wars is the result of fusing the two national obsessions together into a tactical strategy game.

SD Gundam Gashapon Wars was originally released for the Gamecube in 2005 and Bandai ports the game over to the Wii to reach a new generation of players. The game features fairly standard tactical fare which units are marshaled on grid-laced battlefields. New maps are generated randomly upon which the 150+ Gundam mechs battle other mechs for supremacy. Although a single player may enjoy the game fully, GGW becomes a party when four players participate in the simulation. As mechs are beaten, they are added to an image gallery for viewing. In addition to the regular edition of the game, Bandai has also announced a limited edition which includes a black Classic Controller Pro. Preorders for both versions of the game are welcome to ship on June 24, 2010.
