Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G Airu DX - Import Preorder

«©NCSX» The heroic hunters in Capcom's Monster Hunter series of games get all the glory but it's the cats that are the backbone of the adventure. They're the helpers who get things done such as the cooking, the lifting, and the occasional slashing as a combat partner. When faced with a monster, a cat can also distract the creature so that the hero can zoom in for the kill.
Japanese manufacturer Takara has started preorders for two cat characters from the Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G game as follows:

» Merarou - A feline helper who carries a staff with a tooth on top
» Airou - This kitty carries a massive paw mounted on a stick

Each cat is non-scale and measures 15cm or 5.90" in height. The figures are pre-painted and fully assembled for immediate display. Preorders are welcome to ship in mid-late February 2009 at JPY4800 or US$53.90.

Portrait of Pirates Neo-EX Carue - Import Preorder

«©NCSX» When princess Nefertari Vivi joined the Straw Hat Pirates for a short spell in the Baroque Works Saga, she brought along her pet duck named Carue. Despite the bird's goofy appearance and demeanor, Carue nevertheless proves himself useful and even saves his mistress from danger in Arabasta. Prior to Carue's One Piece Portrait of Pirates turn, the only other animal featured in the popular toy model series has been Chopper. So, it's a vote of confidence on the part of the manufacturer Megahouse to produce another POP animal toy.

Carue is sculpted to 1/8 scale and measures 18cm or 7.08" in height. A barrel of beverage is slung around the duck's neck and a bendable straw protrudes from the top of the container. Duckie also wears an aviator's helmet with goggles on top of its head while an aqua-colored seat is tied to its back. Preorders are welcome to ship in mid-late March 2008 at JPY5040 or US$58.90 from NCS.

Kanu Unchou Swimsuit Kurushima Version - Preorder

«©NCSX» Ikkitousen's Kanu Unchou finds herself sculpted in yet another revealing toy figure which is being released by Kurushima. The new figure is sculpted to 1/6 scale and measures 26cm or 10.23" tall. Although the product title includes the word "Swimsuit" in it, there's barely a swimsuit on the figure. Kanu's wearing a bikini bottom but her hands are all that's covering her bosom. Kanu also wears armlets around her biceps and tilts her head up towards the heavens.

The figure is made of cold cast resin and a circular base is included for display purposes. Kanu is also fully assembled, pre-painted and ready for storage in your all-glass display case. The one with the cantilever doors.

Preorders are welcome to ship in mid-late February 2008 at JPY18000 or US$209.90 from NCS. Due to the size of this figure, NCS recommends only shipping by UPS Ground within the United States. Any air service will incur dimensional weight shipping charges. Despite crude dropping roughly 70% since the highs reached this past summer, UPS is still assessing fuel surcharges. Go figure. Hori Real Arcade Pro 3 NCS restocked the HRAP3 last Friday and all backorders have shipped. We then sold out about 2 hours after we had restocked. Another batch is expected to arrive within the next week and all new backorders will ship once the next shipment arrives.

Sackboy Plushes The miniature Sackboy toys were released in Japan on November 28 and NCS expects our shipment to arrive in the next few days. We'll process and ship all preorders upon delivery of the cartons. The large Sackboys should be released sometime next week with stateside delivery soon afterwards.

Pikmin Plushes Some variants of the Pikmin plushes had sold out last week but we've restocked another batch and every Pikmin color variant is in stock again along with Captain Olimar, Louie, and Chappi. New orders are welcome.
