Megami Ibunroku: Devil Survivor - New Import, In Stock

«©NCSX» Tokyo has been marked for annihilation in 7 days time and that level of carnage really can't come to pass. To stop the impending destruction, a heroic lad who's still in high school makes a deal with an assemblage of demons to bring Tokyo back from the brink.

Players control a to-be-named protagonist who's equipped with a special portable gadget (which naturally looks like an NDS) that allows him to recruit demons into his party. By using the power of demons under their control, the party fights malevolent devils and their overlords. Human cohorts in the game include Atsuro Kihara and Yuzu Tani who are fellow students and friends of the protagonist. Battles are fought in turn-based fashion on isometric arenas where actions such as MOVE, ATTACK, and MAGIC are selected from a simple menu. NCS Screenshots

Mario Tennis GC - Wii de Asobu - New Import, In Stock

«©NCSX» The Gamecube version of Mario Tennis GC was released in late 2004 where it won adulation for its peppy controls and overall entertainment value. Nintendo has already re-released two Gamecube titles on the Wii - Donkey Kong Jungle Beat and Pikmin - which were worthwhile upgrades so the re-release of Mario Tennis GC is a welcome addition to the Wii software library.

Upon starting the game, patient players who can sit through lengthy introductory movies can watch a 5 minute CG animation where Mario, Luigi, Wario, Waluigi, and others clown around on the tennis court. It's the same as the Gamecube movie but we think it looks somewhat sharper although we didn't do a side-by-side comparison. Game modes include Exhibition, Tournament, and Special Games which are mini-games. The nunchuk is used for player movement while the Wii Remote is swung to mimic the actual swing of a tennis racket. After playing a few games this morning, our collective wrists are admittedly achy due to the amount of swinging that a few tennis games requires. The player roster at the outset consists of 14 characters including Mario, Peach, Koopa Trooper, and Boo. Each character possesses a special swing attacks which allows him/her to gain an advantage when batting the ball back at the opponent.

Real Action Heroes 425 Chun-Li - New Import, In Stock

«©NCSX» When Street Fighter II was released about 2 decades ago, Chun-Li was the sole female fighter in a cast of brutes. She held her own against challengers with muscular legs and a sweet helicopter move which knocked chumps out.
Medicom's Real Action Heroes rendition of Chun-Li looks impressive with the heroine wearing a blue satiny outfit called a qipao, spiky bracelets, and a "hair bra" on the top of her head. Chun-Li's garb is about right but the hair seems off and her face doesn't look right. Her jaw line is too sharp when it should be more rounded as we remember her from the classic Street Fighter series.
The figure measures 30cm or 11.81" in height and is fully posable. Preorders weill ship today and new orders are welcome.

Haruhi Suzumiya 1/8 School Uniform Figure - New, In Stock

«©NCSX» The impish Haruhi of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya fame isn't your average high student student. She's into peculiar stuff and can alter reality thanks to her paranormal powers. Despite Haruhi's unconventional interests and abilities, her outward appearance is like that of an average schoolgirl who wears a white/blue school uniform. Haruhi has been rendered into a number of forms and Alter joins the toy parade.

Alter's Haruhi Suzumiya 1/8 School Uniform Figure
is set to 1/8 scale and measures 18cm or 7.08" tall. The sculpture is by Hiroshi Inagaki whose skills are evident when inspecting the figure since Haruhi's clothing looks like soft cotton despite being carved from PVC. Haruhi wears her high school uniform and perches on her left leg while her right leg kicks backwards for the illusion of movement in the figure. A school bag is latched to Haruhi's right shoulder and a bright yellow ribbon circles the top of her head. A red armband imprinted with the kanji characters for "Team Leader" encircles her right arm to declare that she's the Queen Bee of the SOS Brigade. All preorders have shipped as of yesterday and new orders are welcome to ship today. Pricing is set at JPY5800 or US$68.90 from NCS.

Nendroid Miku Hatsune Figure - Restock Import, In Stock

«©NCSX» Miku Hatsune, the star of the PC Vocaloid 2 software finds herself sculpted into Nendroid form. For the uninitiated, Vocaloid (Vocal + Android) is a Japanese song simulator from Yamaha and Crypton Future Media where users type in lyrics and the software engine sings out the words in rapid fire staccato. Voice actress Fujita Saki provides the voice for Miku Hatsune in the software and she sounds like a mix between a munchkin and a generalized cartoon character.

Vocaloid 2 has enjoyed strong sales since its release earlier this summer and it’s only fitting that the heroine of the software get in on some merchandising deals. The Nendroid version of Miku measures 10cm or 3.93" in height and three variant faces, a leek, and a pair of extra arms are included for posing purposes. All backorders will ship today.
