World
once
again
with a
new
adventure
which
introduces
the
concept
of a
ranch
where
Digimon
may
reside
and
train.
Played
similarly
to
earlier
Digimon
role
playing
adventures,
players
start
the game
by
selecting
a male
or
female
hero and
eventually
get to
choose
one
Digimon
from
three
possible
choices.
From
there,
the game
takes
the
player
from
Digimon
Central
to the
Digimon
Ranch to
the game
over
world
where
most of
the
exploration
and
battling
takes
place.
Digimon
Story
features
a simple
battle
system
where up
to five
Digimon
in your
party
attack
enemies
in
sequence.
The
attack
position
of party
members
and
enemies
are
shown on
the
upper
screen
and
everyone
takes a
turn
until
one side
loses.
Region-Free
Japanese
Nintendo
DS games
are
region-free
and
playable
on any
version
of the
Nintendo
DS
hardware.
Please
note
however
the
language
is only
in
Japanese.
