Yume Hiyoko Dream Chick Plush Toy

Released in Japan earlier this year, Dream Chick is a lifelike motorized baby chicken that cries and flaps its little whirring wings like an actual chick.

Sega originally shipped them to the Japanese marketplace on March 15, 2007 but Japanese distributors have started another sales campaign for the chicks. Maybe they think the upcoming holiday season will stoke demand. Preorders and new orders will ship today.

Evangelion rears its head once again with a new Rei Ayanami figure which is based on Kaiyodo's highly posable Revoltech joints. Looking over our collection of Rei figures, we see a lot of fixed posed and limited pose toys so the Revoltech Fraulein may be the most posable Rei ever based on the energetic poses we've seen for this particular figure.

Rei measures 15cm or 5.90" in height and is a fully painted + completed toy. Preorders are welcome to ship in mid-late January 2007 at US$22.

Three varieties are on offer from Cospa to match the unique personalities out there: white ears with fleshy innards, brown ears, and black ears. Preorders are welcome to ship on or around December 30, 2007 at US$22 per pair.

PutiPuti Keychain - Import Preorder

Busting up sheets of bubble wrap is one of mankind's greatest pastimes. It's better than reading comic books, building ant farms, watching hamsters run on wheels, and skipping stones across a stagnant pond. Whenever a single bubble on a sheet of bubble wrap is popped, the crisp sound of air being forcibly ejected through plastic resonates through the popper's soul and brings joy and love into his or her life.

Bandai knows this. To provide bubble wrap crushers with a lifetime of joy, the company unleashes the PutiPuti which replicates the sensation and sounds of popping bubble wrap. Reach 100 pops and a special sound effect bellows forth from the speaker such as a dog barking, passing gas, or the ding of a doorbell. Preorders are welcome to ship in mid-late December 2007 at US$9.50 each. Five color variants are on offer.

V.C.D. Star Wars C-3PO Sofubi Toy - Import Preorder

On any given Monday when we're given the choice between R2-D2 and C-3PO, we'd pick the droid... but that's only because C-3PO is annoying and soft-spoken. Medicom may change our collective preferences however with the super-shiny and posable Vinyl Collectible Doll featuring a glimmering C-3PO made of soft vinyl. The paint job is impressive in that it emulates the appearance and sheen of gold metal on mere PVC.
Sofubi C-3PO measures 21cm or 8.26" tall and wears a blank expression that's evocative of a wooden plank. Preorders are welcome to ship in February 2009 at US$58 each.
