Transformers All Spark Cube Movie Prop Replica

If you're the kind of Transformers-loving hater who was displeased with Michael Bay's Transformers The Movie and knew you could do a better job, you'll need a lot of props. Damn the actors because the proper props are what make or break a movie. To get you started on your dream film project, Popbox Collectibles has announced a limited edition Transformers All Spark Cube which is scheduled to ship in October 2007.

The cube is set to 1:4 scale at 7cm (2.755") per side. The material is diecast metal with oodles of Cybertronian writing, etchings, and gnarly looking lines scratched across the surface of the cube. Popbox calls it a paperweight but it's highly unlikely anyone's going to drop it on top of papers to hold them down. That's what books are for. Preorders are welcome to ship in mid-late October at US$58.90 each.

Mad Max: The Road Warrior Interceptor

Since its release on March 21, 1980, the Mad Max movie has grossed a little under US$100 million in worldwide theatrical sales. The production budget for the original movie was $200,000. The Interceptor vehicle used in the Mad Max movie was a modified 1973 XB GT Ford Falcon Coupe which was sold exclusively in Australia. It was a bad vehicle suitable for a bad man. Auto Art has announced a 1:18 scale replica of the Interceptor for fans to savor and stare at. Note: The car is based on the second Mad Max movie since there's two fuel tanks mounted on the back. Assorted gear and a little toy dog named "Dog" are included. Preorder for Nov delivery.

Metal Gear Solid Collector's Edition Kubrick

Medicom celebrates the 20th Anniversary of Metal Gear by starting preorders for an MGS Collector's Edition Kubrick set which features:

Xenosaga III T-elos 1/8 Scale Figure

Alter continues their tradition of sharp-looking figures with T-elos of Xenosaga fame. The 1:8 scale figure measures 21cm (8.26") tall and appears to be a nigh perfect recreation of the video game hellion. The Greek word "telos" means "final" or "end" which is somewhat fitting since she's one of the three bosses towards the end of the Xenosaga III game.

T-elos wears revealing body armor with a color scheme that's dark as opposed to KOS-MOS' pastel hues. The ebon-warrior also carries an energy blade on her left arm. T-elos also has flowing blue hair which is similar to KOS' mane. Preorders ship in January 2008.

Vicky & Viking Boat Model Kit

Children and adults in Germany, the Netherlands, and Japan have been entertained by Vicky the Viking and his escapes since the 70s when Runer Jonsson's children's book was adapted for television. Vicky is a young Viking lad with blonde locks who's neither strong nor especially seaworthy but he's an invaluable asset to his Viking cohorts thanks to his quick mind and snappy ideas.

Japanese manufacturer Aoshima has started preorders for a Vicky figure set (8 characters total) and a Viking Boat model kit. Please note that assembly is required to put the boat together. The set is limited to only 500 pieces in Japan and pricing is set at JPY6000 or US$58 from NCS. Preorders are welcome to ship in mid-late October 2007.

Final Fantasy Crisis Core PSP Bundle Our shipments of the Crisis Core PSP Limited Edition bundle are scheduled to arrive on Thursday of next week. Due to the volume of orders for the bundle and the relatively high transaction values, please be advised that we will begin processing and charging preorders on Tuesday (September 11) of next week. As long as all of our shipments clear U.S. Customs expeditiously and make it in on time, NCS expects to ship all preorders on September 13.
