PSV Tales of Hearts R - Import Preorder

    Hisui Hearts and his sister Kohak are running along in the rain with urgency when they fall down an embankment. The two watch the lightning in the distance when they're approached by a shrouded female stranger with a deep voice. The shrouded figure proceeds to launch a ball of energy at the siblings which sends them over a cliff and into the rapids below. From this inauspicious beginning, the latest Tales game kicks off.

    Players adopt the role of a feathery-haired hero named Shing Meteoryte who befriends the Hearts siblings when he finds them washed ashore on a beach near his home. When Shing first spots them, he comments that Kohak is attractive and proceeds to perform mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. His heroic effort is met with a punch in the face when Kohak revives herself and finds Shing's actions (maybe it was his pursed lips) disagreeable.

    Originally released on the Nintendo DS in December 2008 on two separate game cards, Namco Bandai upgrades the game with visual polish and includes a DLC code for a 2D action-RPG titled, 'Tales of Hearts R Infinite Evolved' in the first printing of the game. PSV Meruru no Atelier Plus Arland no Renkinjutsushi 3

   Alchemists tend to stick together and in the third Arland no Renkinjutsu game, Totori from the Atelier Totori game is training the new protagonist Meruru to become a proper alchemy practitioner. Meruru's adventure represents the conclusive chapter in the Arland series and Gust brings back characters from the first and second Arland games for a proper swansong. 

 

   Meruru Rede Arls is a fledgling alchemist who has been tasked with the challenge of building up the country of Earls into something that's comparable to the land of Arland. She's not lone in her mission however. Her party also includes Totori Helmond and a transformed Rorona Fryxell. Rorona is now a younger girl due to a mishap involving a potion that Meruru crafted and Rorona quaffed. Together, the party travels the land, creates new items, and aids the citizenry. With successful completion of tasks and assignments, the party earns points which are used to construct building in Earls to bolster the wherewithal of the kingdom.

PSV Oboro Muramasa - Import Preorder

   The 2D platformer is dead. Long live the 2D platformer. Marvelous eschews the allure of 3D and does 2D proud with an action game that's packed with lush hand drawn visuals and fast-paced swordplay. A dainty kunoichi heroine dubbed Momohime and a dashing ninja hero named Kisuke star in this 2D side scrolling hack 'n slasher which takes place in olde Japan. Not post-war Japan but way further back when weapons called "Demon Blades" were actually bandied about. Enemy underlings and magnificent end-level bosses such as a club-wielding demon, a giant samurai, and a massive millipede that stretches across multiple screens serve as the opposition.
 

   Upon starting a game, players may choose either Momohime or Kisuke from a simple selection screen that lists their names but not their portraits. We chose Momohime (left selection) because kunoichi are much cooler than ninja. Kunoichi are also more presentable at cocktail parties. At the outset, a simple tutorial teaches players the basic moves where the "A" button attacks and pushing up on the analog thumbstick makes the hero jump. An impressive assortment of moves is available including a rolling slash and a dashing aerial attack where the kunoichi's entire body serves as the weapon. When performing the aerial dash, a total of three sequential attacks may be made before the game engine resets and calls time out.

   The Playstation Vita rendition of Oboro Muramasa features newly recorded character voices and DLC scenarios. Marvelous is including a bonus Oboro Muramasa Soundtrack CD with preorders in 50% ratio. Preorders are welcome to ship on March 28, 2013.

    Reservations are welcome for Banpresto's 'Tales of Abyss X Tales of Vesperia X Tales of Xillia 2 Chibi-kun chara' toy figures which are being distributed exclusively to amusement centers in Japan as limited edition premium prizes. The characters in the set are:
