Weekly Famitsu Vol. 1049 - Subscriptions Only

«©NCSX» The latest issue of Famitsu features coverage of the following games and events:
» Kidou Senshi Gundam: Senjou no Kizuna Portable - information on the game system and mobile suits including the RX-78-2 and RX-77-2.
» Famitsu's Reviewers rank NDS Megami Ibunroku: Devil Survivor (9/8/8/8), Wii Akumajou Dracula Judgment (6/6/6/6), PS3 Naruto Storm (9/9/9/8), and PS3 Race Driver Grid (8/8/8/8).
» Preview for House of the Dead EX coin-op
» Zettai Zetsumei 3 will be released on the PSP this year and the protagonist this time around is female. The disasters take place above ground, underground, and even in tunnels where cars are stuck.
» Famitsu assembles a number of Happy New Year 2009 greetings from publishers. We like the one from Atlus which shows a toothy Jack Frost resting against a whistling bovine. It's precious. Sony's greeting features Sackboy with a Holstein design and that's our second favorite. It's the Year of the Cow in the Lunar Calendar in case you're wondering about the cow themes.

Umihara Kawase Shun Second Edition Kanzenban - Preorder

«©NCSX» The story of Umihara Kawase and her grappling hook began over a decade ago on the Super Famicom. Since then, she's made it to a couple of sequels and a remake on the Playstation Portable. The PSP remake had issues with the way the grappling hook worked (the heart and soul of the game) but publisher (株)Genterprise is giving gamers a more accurate rendition that's being supervised by the original series programmer Sakai Kiyoshi.

Umihara Kawase Shun Second Edition Kanzenban is based on the updated Playstation version of the game which was originally released in 2000 by Xing Entertainment.
The heroine Umihara Kawase swings around platforms with the use of a rubbery grappling hook which may also be swung at enemies for offensive maneuvers. The DS remake features a new stage that was also supervised by Sakai Kiyoshi. For added value, new character artwork by Makoto Satoshi is also peppered in the game.
Preorders are welcome to ship on March 26, 2009 at JPY4800 or US$53.90 from NCS. Japanese title: 海腹川背・旬~セカンドエディション~完全版

Seventh Dragon - Preorder

«©NCSX» Thousands of dragons are threatening mankind's existence and only a small party of adventurers can beat back the reptilian hordes. Sega's upcoming 7th Dragon RPG features top-viewed adventure action where a party of heroes wander around and face off against enemy cadres. Players create a party from scratch with a choice of seven job classes, 30 special skills per profession, and the ability to enhance those skills by using them during the adventure.

Early preorders will ship with a bonus art booklet and soundtrack CD in 50% ratio on March 5, 2009.

Mickey Mouse Desk Light - Preorder

«©NCSX» Mickey Mouse is an American cultural icon but he's popular in Japan as well. Each year, NCS receives numerous Mickey Mouse product offers which range from consumer goods to toys to games. Sega Toys currently holds a license to produce products that bear the likeness and/or imprint of Mickey Mouse and other Disney properties. One upcoming product is the Mickey Mouse Desk Light which measures 12 x 32cm (4.72 x 12.59") and is powered by two AA batteries.
The top of the lamp features a Mickey Mouse Club cap - the same kind that Britney, Justin, and even Christina once wore - which is attached to the base by a slender mounting arm. Two varieties are on offer - a Mickey Mouse Desk Light with a red base and a second version with a blue base. Please note that the mounting arm is not adjustable and is fixed in the position shown in the product photo. Preorders are welcome to ship in mid-late April 2009 at US$25.90 per lamp.

Mickey Mouse Twist Game - Preorder

«©NCSX» The Twister board game isn't something we'd agree to play voluntarily. We're more into Operation where objects are removed from a patient named Cavity Sam. Hasbro currently own the Twister toy brand but Sega Toys has a similar product on the way called Mickey Mouse Twist Game which looks like Twister except the colored spots on the mat are Mickey Mouse in silhouette. A little spinner is included which serves as the decider for where participants are supposed to plant their hands and feet in their quest to become twisted, entangled, and perhaps injured.
Preorders for the Mickey Mouse Twist Game are welcome to ship in
mid-late April 2009 at US$28.90 each.

Unchi Beam!! - Preorder

«©NCSX» In Japan, a pyramidal coil that terminates with a little point on top is called unchi. We know it as dung. Poop. Fecal matter. NCS is unsure of how unchi came to have its distinctive soft-serve ice cream shape since unchi doesn't really look like that. How could it? The point of exit would have to be a Taylor Soft Serve Freezer. The one with the 7 quart freezing cylinder. NCS has sold Unchi toys in the past. We've even sold Funchi toys so do not be alarmed by the latest in Unchi from Japan - the Unchi Beam.

Most unchi just sits there. Not this unchi. This unchi shoots out a beam of light from an LED that illuminates the dark like a beacon of hope. In addition to the LED, a keychain on the top of the little unchi may be tethered to a set of keys. Preorders are welcome to ship in mid-late April 2009 at US$23.90 for the complete set of 10 Unchi Beam toys.

Mushihimesama Princess Reko Figure - Clearance

Original Update: Update: July 21, 2005
«©NCSX»
When Mushihimesame was released for the Playstation 2 a few years ago, Taito also shipped a limited edition version of the game which included a Princess Reko figure. She's the heroine of the game and the figure features her as a wee lassie holding aloft her pet Kiniro when it was just a baby beetle. Reko seemingly beams with pride while baby Kiniro appears content just to be somewhere.

Reko stands upon a grassy patch with two daisies to the left and right of her feet. The diorama measures approximately 5" tall from grass patch to the tip of Kiniro's pointy horn. Miss Reko and Kiniro are packaged in a cardboard backed blister pack which slips into the mint condition Mushihimesama Limited Edition cardboard box.

Sale Offering
Pricing is set at US$28.90 per Reko figure which includes free USPS Media Mail shipping anywhere in the contiguous USA. Media Mail normally delivers in 5-10 days. For our international customers, we will ship by USPS First Class Airmail which will carry a flat rate of US$13.55.
