NDS Ivy the Kiwi? - New Import, In Stock

NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» Yuji Naka's Ivy the Kiwi? debuted on the Windows Phone platform last year and Ivy hits the Nintendo DS and Wii this week. In the game, players scrawl and stretch vines on the screen in order to direct the lemming-like Kiwi into certain paths and across obstacles. Ivy isn't very bright nor is she particularly thoughtful. She just marches onwards with resolute determination in a quest to find her mama. Due to Ivy's lack of street smarts, players will have to keep an eye out for her and make she she doesn't plunge to her death, get spiked by jagged iron, or otherwise falter to the reaper. In addition to serving as conveyances, the vines may also be whipped and pulled in order to slingshot the Kiwi through walls like an orange avian cannonball.

NDS Naruto Shippuden Ninjutsu Zenkai! - New Import, In Stock

NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» Naruto and friends return to the Nintendo DS with a new 4-player fighting game where there are no rules and it's every man for himself. Takara Tomy touts the "easy operation" of the action where punches and kicks may be rattled off with ease along with special attacks such as Deidara's diving big bird move. The game also features a new touch screen power-up system dubbed "Chakurasshu" for fiery blasts. The cast of characters include Deidara, Jiraiya, Jugo, Sai, Kakashi, Orochimaru, and Sasuke. When the fighters are at the edges of the battlefield, the camera pans outwards to take in the entire view of the hijinx but as they ramble closer to each other for attacks and smacks, the camera focuses tight on the action as the fighters make contact.

The Windows Phone and Nintendo DS versions of the game require the use of touch-screen motions to guide Ivy around but the Wii version gives players control over a hand-shaped pointer. By using the Wii Remote to manipulate the pointer, gamers create vines, elongate them, and even stretch or swing the vines to get Ivy going on her way. The precision is about the same although we prefer the immediate response of the touchscreen and the feeling of direct control over the vines.

Wii Xenoblade - Import Preorder

NCS Preorder Synopsis
«©NCSX» Two monolithic gods once went to war and a great battle ensued which shook the planet and roiled the heavens. Swords were swung by both sides and massive damage was done whereby both gods died from their wounds. That was a while ago but the dead hulks of both gods still stand on the battlefield facing each other. The eerie goliaths now serve as the "continents" for two races - humans live on one god which was once a living being while sentient machines reside on the other god which was a mechanical monstrosity. As the story in Xenoblade begins, the humans and machines are at odds and a new conflict is in progress.

Players take on the role of a sandy-haired lad named Shulk who hopes to use a sword known as Monado to help the humans defeat the machines. Shulk's traveling companion is named Fiorung who's the sister of a hero named Dunban who once wielded the Monado sword. A battlefield injury has sidelined Dunban but he helps Shulk with the process of unlocking the secrets of the Monado weapon.
