Shooting Game Historica Vol. 2 - Preorder

Japanese toy manufacturer Yujin has started preorders for the second volume of Shooting Historica gashapon which features starships from another five shooting games as follows:

R-Type III - R90 Ragnarok
Fantasy Zone - Opa Opa
Raystorm - R-Gray1
Star Luster - Gaia
Star Blade - Geo Sword

Since Yujin appears to be releasing the ships in some sort of chronological order, we might not see the Judge Spear or the Silvergun until SGH Vol. 4. Preorders are welcome to ship in late July 2008 at US$20.90 for the complete set of five ships as listed above. Jan Code: 4904790973918

Bleach The 3rd Phantom - Preorder

Fighting games based on the BLEACH franchise have peppered the Japanese retail landscape for a few years now. There's only so much Shinigami slashing action that a player can take before apathy sets in. To alleviate the tedium, Sega tries a different tack with their upcoming Bleach The 3rd Phantom release on the Nintendo DS. Instead of outright fighting, the cast of Bleach find themselves immersed in a tactical strategy game where the movement is on grids and the attacks are selected from a menu. As a preorder bonus, Sega will give away a set of Bleach postcards in a 50% ratio. Preorders are welcome to ship on June 26, 2008.

They are My Noble Masters: Benis 1/8 Scale Figure - Preorder

In the Kimi ga Aruji de Shitsuji ga Ore de (They are my Noble Masters) property, the Kuonji household is run by a ginger-maned maid named Benis. She's fiery-tempered, brash, and snarky. She's also a fantastic cook and extremely loyal to her employers. Toy manufacturer Alter celebrates Benis by announcing a 1/8 scale PVC figure which measures 22cm or 8.66" in height. Benis is dressed in her regulation-issue maid's uniform which drapes downwards in a natural manner. Preorders are welcome to ship in late August 2008 at US$68.90 per figure.

Kanu Unchou 1/6 Scale Summer Vacation - Preorder

Toy sculptors have generally given Kanu Unchou a short leash when molding her from scratch. She's either in a battle stance, a stoic pose, or more recently, in a passive position. The latest Kanu toy announcement fits in the last category where the woman-warrior takes on the role of a Bikini Model and a Race Queen. A Race Queen who's on summer vacation.

The wave of Kanu Unchou toys gains strength with another figure that examines the softer side of Kanu. To emphasize Kanu's femininity, three sets of bikinis are included in the toy package which may be changed to fit the setting or situation she's in. Kanu is set at 1/6 scale and measures 17cm tall in her sprawled seated posture. Satoshi Ishiyama provides the sculpting work and Orchid Seed releases it this summer. Preorders are welcome to ship in late July 2008 at US$73.90 per figure.
