No tears yet but maybe if the temperatures hit the 100s again this summer, grown-ass men will begin blubbering. Rather than moving the remaining old stock that hasn't been moved yet to new premises, we're going to try selling some of the inventory. Instead of keeping inventory for decades, we're going to try a different tactic. So, for the next 30 days or so until the lease on the old warehouse is up, we'll be putting up one or two warehouse items for sale every day. The Bleach mascot is dressed in a black tuxedo and a microphone made of felt is attached to his right hand. He's playing the part of a nattily attired emcee or maybe a huckster of some sort. KON is also wearing a red bowtie which is probably worth at least 50 cents of intrinsic value by its lonesome. The plush measures 8" tall and is an officially licensed Japanese product that was manufactured by Banpresto. «©NCSX» Shinigami, Bounts, Arrancar, and Hollows are back at it again when Sony releases Bleach Heat the Soul 7 this summer. Yep, Bleach HTS is up to its seventh release and we remember the launch of the first game on the PSP like it was yesterday. Fresh, crisp, and fluid are descriptors we've used to describe the Bleach games and the seventh game in the series probably won't disappoint our lofty expectations.

New to the series is a 4-player "Battle Royale" mode where up to four gamers link up via ad hoc and a roster of fighters which reaches 84 combatants. The Story Mode in the game features the story arcs from last season's episodes and the villainous Espada are major factor. «©NCSX» The characters in Bleach are generally lanky, tall, and athletic. Constant sword swinging and action-packed lifestyles do wonders to tone the muscles and keep the flab away. The physiology of the Bleach cast took a turn towards the childlike when Sony released the original Soul Carnival in October 2008. Ichigo was reduced to a squat munchkin who looked like a Pocket Fighter and Rukia could've been mistaken for a dwarf. They became little people. Little people who leapt, slashed, and rambled across 2D stages in a campaign against Hollows and their bosses.

Bleach Soul Carnival 2 plies more of the same side scrolling action where kid Ichigo and his compatriots run from left to right and attack Hollows. A slash meter on the lower-right corner of the screen tracks consecutive attacks that have been chained together. Ichigo grunts and makes animal noises with each attack to ensure that players are aware of the effort he puts into his Hollow-killing escapades. Special attacks are available to Ichigo and friends which dispatch enemies with more efficacy than sword slashes. New characters join the game as playable protagonists as the levels are conquered. Sony touts the appearance of over 120 Bleach characters in the game but most appear only as supporting cast members to move the story along.

Either the d-pad or the analog nub may be used for control. We found the d-pad more precise. Pushing up or down makes the fighter run in that direction for evasive maneuvers or tactical positioning. Pushing forward and back on the d-pad moves the fighter likewise.

In order to rescue Rukia from her daze, Ichigo ventures forth to find a way to bring her back and release Rukia from the possession. The next Bleach game for the Nintendo DS is a 2D platformer where Ichigo Kurosaki runs from left to right and hacks enemy henchmen with loud thwacks and smacks. The game utilizes both screens of the DS where Ichigo can jump upwards and run on platforms that are located on the top screen to engage a world that scrolls freely both vertically and horizontally. Power-ups, customizations, and special attacks are triggered by using Soul System cards which may be combined for different effects. Bleach Versus Crusade - New Import, Ships Today

«©NCSX» Ichigo and Rukia lead the cast of Bleach on another 3D fighting game designed by Treasure for Sega. The basic storyline is based on the Arrancar Saga where three factions go to war. Two fighters face off against each other on expansive battlegrounds which provide enough space to run, dash, and in the case of one winged fighter, fly. In addition to the one-on-one fighting action, team battles are also possible in 2-vs-2 tag team challenges. Battlefields where combat takes place include a parking lot at night, an arid desert area, and a darkly lit location that's dotted with crags which is best described as forlorn. The Wi-Fi option allows to online connected fighters to battle each other in split-screen.

As mentioned earlier, Bleach Versus Crusade was developed by Treasure for Sega so collectors of all things Treasure have another game to add to the library. The developer's game design sensibilities and superior coding skills are in evidence with a responsive fighting game that runs fast and fluid.

Bleach Soul Carnival - New Import, In Stock

«©NCSX» The Bleach Heat the Soul games have always featured the fighters from Bleach in their normal full-bodied stature. Sony's new Bleach Soul Carnival shrinks the characters into chibi-sized renditions of themselves so they're more impish than imposing. Despite their size reduction however, the fighters still pack a wallop with their swords and spiritual force.

Bleach Soul Carnival is a 2D side-scrolling platform game which begins with Ichigo meeting Rukia and the two travel together to strike down Hollows and their bosses. A short training sequence starts the game off where Ichigo's special attacks are demonstrated. For example, to perform special attacks that use spirit power, hold the D-pad up or down and press the "Square" button. For low-level Hollows, conventional sword slashes are enough to destroy them but higher-level Hollows take a lot more damage before they're dispatched. In the first stage, Rukia serves as a supporting character who may be called upon to attack Hollows or bosses. When the second stage starts, players may choose to play as Ichigo or Rukia. At the conclusion of the second stage, you can gain Uryū Ishida as a playable character if you're able to beat him in a one-on-one bout.

Sony touts a total of over 70 characters in the game so there's someone to suit everyone's preference of fighting protagonist or companion. Customers who submitted early reservations will receive a bonus Bleach Puffy Sticker strap which was given out by the publisher in 30% ratio.

NCS was first introduced to Weekly Shonen Jump back in the 80s. We were just punk kids back then, wandering the wilds of New York City where bookstores like Kinokuniya and Asahiya became occasional haunts. A portly but attractive salesgirl at Asahiya pointed out Shonen Jump and recommended it. Each issue of Shonen Jump was as big as a dictionary but way more enjoyable to read. We were hooked.
