In "Shin Megami Tensei if...," Karukozaka High School is transported to a demon-filled dimension by a vengeful student named Ideo Hazama. The protagonist, a student at the school, teams up with different classmates to navigate various demon-ruled realms, battling enemies and overcoming challenges to find a way back to their world. The story explores themes of power, revenge, and the consequences of actions, culminating in different endings based on the player's choices and the route taken.
