NCS Preorder Synopsis
«©NCSX» In the recent Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker game, one of the AI weapons is a machine called "Basilisk." Its design sensibilities bear similarities to the Metal Gear and the Basilisk's official name is "Peace Walker" because it is used as a nuclear deterrent to keep the peace. The Play Arts Kai rendition of Basilisk bears a respectable resemblance to the monstrosity encountered in the Peace Walker action-adventure. A host of weaponry may be found on its structure including flamethrowers, missile launchers, and an immobilization ray. The Play Arts Kai Basilisk is a fully assembled toy which is pre-painted and ready for display and play.
Preorders for the Basilisk are welcome to ship in late September 2010 at JPY6800 or US$78.90 from NCS.

TOYS MGS Peace Walker Play Arts Kai v2 Basilisk - Preorder
TOYS MGS Peace Walker Play Arts Kai v2 Chrysalis - Preorder
NCS Preorder Synopsis
«©NCSX» Peace Walker players who've completed the game may recall the intense battle against an aerial A.I.-powered missile launcher called the Chrysalis. Swooping in and out of the fog and flapping its wing-like discs like a butterfly, the Chrysalis was an imposing opponent which also happened to have a sing-song munchkin voice. Think of it as video-gaming-dissonance where a lethal war machine sounds like a little girl.
The Play Arts Kai rendition of the Chrysalis looks like its video game incarnation. We think. The reason we're not entirely sure is because when fighting the Chrysalis, we're watching it from below and attempting to get a bead on the bugger. Preorders for the Chrysalis are welcome to ship in late September 2010 at JPY6800 or US$78.90 from NCS.
TOYS MGS Peace Walker Play Arts Kai v2 Pupa - Preorder
NCS Preorder Synopsis
«©NCSX» When Pupa enters the stage in the Peace Walker game, it rolls down a ramp and sits immobile for a few seconds so players can appreciate its hefty bulk and mechanical majesty. Once the battle starts, Pupa fires a volley of shots and rambles up and down the walls that surround the arena. Pupa is a tough customer but as long as you have Supply MK for replenishing your ammo and concentrate your fire on the cylindrical A.I. Pod, Pupa is eventually a dead duck.
Square's Play Arts Kai Pupa recreation looks good and we'll probably keep a couple of them in our little toy collection. Preorders are welcome to ship in late September 2010 at JPY5600 or US$68.90.
TOYS Ikkitousen XX Kanu Unchou Pure Sexy Version - Preorder
NCS Preorder Synopsis
«©NCSX» NCS is still waiting for "She-Hulk Kanu" and "Batgirl Kanu" incarnations from enterprising toy makers but until that happens, we have a nearly-nude Kanu on the way later this year. Kanu gets sexy in Skytube's upcoming Ikkitousen XX Kanu Unchou Pure Sexy Version which depicts the warrior-maiden with hardly anything on. Other than the lily-white pair of panties that are in the process of riding down her thighs, the only other fabric on Kanu rests on her red fingerless mitts and her white below-the-knee socks.
Kanu measures 13cm or 5.11" tall in her kneeling position and she's accompanied by the Green Dragon Crescent Spear in case anyone tries to accost her. Kanu's hair is as long as ever which snakes down her back and terminates near he right knee. Preorders are welcome to ship in August.
TOYS Ikkitousen XX Choun Shiryu Pure Sexy Version - Preorder
NCS Preorder Synopsis
«©NCSX» Even though Kanu Unchou is the reigning queen of the Japanese toy-figure market, Choun Shiryu gets her share of the love as well. Both girls hail from the Ikkitousen franchise which has captured the imaginations and fantasies of fanboys the world over. Skytube's Ikkitousen XX Choun Shiryu Pure Sexy Version figure allows Choun to keep her underwear on but her bosom is bare of any cloth. A thick pair of black socks keeps Choun's tootsies warm while her lengthy shock of silver-hued hair shields her back from the winds and wandering eyes. Choun appears to be sleeping but she nevertheless holds a blade in her left hand while a scabbard is gripped in her right hand.
Preorders are welcome to ship in August 2010 at JPY5800 or US$68.90.
