ファイナルファンタジーセブンリメイクインターグレード

The award-winning FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE INTERGRADE* retells the original story up to the escape from Midgar, with breathtaking visuals, fast-paced gameplay, and additional story elements.

This RPG delivers unforgettable characters, a powerful narrative, and a hybrid battle system that blends real-time action with strategic, command-based combat.

It also includes FF7R EPISODE INTERmission, a side story starring Yuffie Kisaragi that offers a fresh perspective running in parallel to Cloud’s journey.

■ STORY
Mako, the lifeblood of the planet, is also a highly valuable energy source.
The Shinra Electric Power Company exploits this essence, draining and refining it to fuel their reactors, and in doing so, has all but seized control of the world.
But resistance rises. A ragtag group of idealists, known as Avalanche, is determined to protect the planet.
In the city of Midgar, Cloud Strife, ex-SOLDIER turned mercenary, joins Avalanche on their mission to blow up Reactor 1.
As the echo of the blast ripples through Sector 8, the city is set ablaze. In the flames, a fallen nemesis from Cloud's past appears, challenging his memories and his identity.
Once more begins a story that will shape the destiny of the entire world.

*This game is a partial remake of FINAL FANTASY VII, first released in 1997. It is the first title in a multi-part series based on the original game. It reimagines the Midgar portion of the story with expanded scenes, new characters, and additional narrative layers.

GEAR Saga Series Inspiration Eco Bag [Preorder, Arrival Late October 2024] US$29.98/Each

Product Synopsis

Update: July 20, 2024
A medley of Square's Saga series characters rendered in their pixel-perfect forms are arranged neatly on the "Saga Series Inspiration Eco Bag" made of 100% polyester. Eco bags provide a sustainable way to carry your groceries, purchases, and other luggables without using non eco-friendy plastic bags that may end up clogging a whale's blowhole.

A light bulb over each character's head that's printed on the bag is a nod to the light bulbs that appear over a warrior's head during battle in the Saga games such as Romancing Saga (Super Famicom), Saga Frontier (Playstation), and SaGa Scarlet Grace (Vita. When a fighter learns a new skill during battle, the lightbulb flashes on screen to indicate that ascension has arrived.

In addition to the eco bag, Square Enix throws in a pouch in the shape of a light bulb to store the eco bag when it's not in use. Alternatively, the light bulb pouch looks like it's roomy enough to store a mobile phone.

Product Contents
   ● Saga Series Eco-Bag
   ● Light bulb Storage Pouch

SALE Heavy Metal Thunder [In Stock, JPN-PS2] US$60.98/each

 NCS Product Synopsis

 Update: September 1, 2005
«©NCSX» In the year 2980, three things still haunt an alternate universe version of Japan: heavy metal music, brightly colored robots, and masses of slavering fans hungry for both vocations. Pokemon and Yu-gi-oh have long faded from the landscape but foot-long robot wrestlers have taken over the mindshare of the populace. Skilled operators control the miniature robots with simple commands in one-on-one battle to throngs of cheering onlookers.

Holding true to formulaic plot arcs found in other stories, Heavy Metal Thunder follows the trials of an underdog who grows into a world beater but works through self doubt, trepidation, and internal conflict along the way. Players step into the persona of Denki Akihabara (English Name: Wanna Be) who is an aspiring robot wrestling handler. On his 14th birthday, Denki's father gifts him with a top-notch robot. Along with the birthday present, poppy extends an invite to a high-level tournament known as The Titan Battle. There's a catch however - the loser of a Titan Battle loses his robot by way of blasting and is subsequently hanged on route to his/her burial space on an island.

In Denki's first battle, he notches an impressive victory and catches the attention of a trainer named Yamada who takes him under his wing. As Denki's skills improve with each successive duel, he'll eventually face his own trainer and other acquaintances in the arena.

 Gameplay
Robots may be tweaked to enhance performance on the battlefield and Denki will learn new techniques on fighting and anticipating how opponents will strategize. The action in Heavy Metal Thunder is played in flick motion where the player selects a move for the robot to execute and then watches it play out on screen. A robot may be guided to guard against attack, throw out a blow, or wrestle. Special moves known as beats are also available to take down opponents in a button-mashing blaze. A beat meter keeps track of a pool of beat power which fills up as the robot performs various moves. Although the game uses robots as onscreen champions, the controls may be likened to that of an axe wielding musician who manipulates his instrument in a battle against another musician. To complement the parallel, rapid button jamming (strumming) comes into play to send the robot into a fighting frenzy.

 Backstory
Heavy Metal Thunder refers a robot that dominates the battles in the Titan Battle circuit. Unbeknownst to Denki at the outset of the game, Heavy Metal Thunder is owned and operated by his father, a blonde and corpulent top dog in robot wrestling. As the story moves along and new battles are won, Denki's suspicions about his father are aroused and later confirmed. The ultimate goal is to beat poppy at his own game but the journey will span 26 game years as Denki rises through the ranks to eventually face off against his father in the ultimate death match.

The presentation of the game gives off a circus atmosphere reminiscent of a North American wrestling drama with over the top characters, a cheesy commentator named MC Ono and a Fruit Cup co-host, and other oddball participants. Fruit Cup is literally a walking Fruit Cup. Denki's supporters include classmates Yoko Meguro and Sermon, a mentor named Alice, a seductive temptress known as Layla, and other cheeky individuals.

 Music
Although Heavy Metal Thunder shares a title with an album from Japanese metal group Sex Machineguns, the game shares little with the group other than the music featured in the game. Other rockers who contributed tracks include Marty Friedman - lead guitarist of Megadeth, who is currently touring with Aikawa Nanase, Michael Schenker - Guitarist (Scorpions, UFO, MSG, Contraband), Rolly, Garlic Boys, Marcy & Shara, Delta Throb, and many others.

SALE Front Mission 4 [In Stock, PS2-ASIAN] US$68.98

NCS Product Synopsis

Update: December 16, 2003
«©NCSX» Front Mission 4 is set in a timeline between the first Front Mission game (2090) and the second (2102) so it's a prequel of sorts. Six years after the events in the original Front Mission game, two characters united by fate named Daril and Elsa are the new protagonists in a new storyline. Daril is a Wanzer driver with a bad attitude and Elsa is in research. Together, the two form a formidable and unlikely team.

The United States of the New Continent (USN) and the Euro Continent (EC) are at it again and the machines of war are 18-foot mech-robos bristling with heavy artillery. Overly dramatic cinemas in Front Mission 4 seem almost cheesy... but this is Square, they can't be cheesy (can they?). Outside of the theatrics, the game is impressive with tactical battles where Wanzers at your command shoot or punch enemy soldiers at your behest. There's a movement phase and then an action phase - when firing away at an opposing unit, shots spray the hull of the mecha and little numbers will pop up everywhere which tally the damage each part has taken. For example, damage the mech's punching hand to the point of no return and it won't be able to attack at close range anymore. Destroy the weapon on it's shoulder and that's one less offensive weapon that you'll have to worry about. Square touts battlefield maps that are 10X the size of those found in Front Mission 3, which should make for some expansive missions and episodes.

Like previous Front Mission games, Wanzer armor and weaponry may be adjusted and upgraded to higher levels of performance. The complete exo-skeleton of a wanzer may be bolstered and upgraded - from the left shoulder to the right arm to the backpack to the left hand... you get the idea. Color preferences for Wanzers may also be chosen to suit your whimsy along with a dizzying array of weaponry choices. Similar to previous games in the series, the menus are mostly in English which makes upgrading mecha fairly easy and the speech in the game is also in English.

Region Lock-out
Please note Japanese Playstation 2 games will not boot on USA or European PS2 consoles due to the inherent region-lockout on Playstation 2 game discs.

SALE Sephiroth Aroma Candle [In Stock, JAPAN] US$49.90

NCS Poduct Synopsis
Update: September 30, 2010
«©NCSX» Both Cloud and Sephiroth had bottled fragrances released in their honor in August. Never one to miss opportunity, Square is following up the eau de toilettes with scented paraffin wax candles that have an aroma not dissimilar to the fruity and floral scents of the bottled fragrances.

A decorative glass container with a capacity of 50ml holds each candle and Square's preorder solicitation mentions that the candle will burn for at least 50 hours. That's more than 2 days worth of flickering flame, fruity aroma, and a smidge of soot. Once the candle is completely burned out, users are left with a pretty glass which may be used as a drinking cup or a desirable Final Fantasy collectible. Please choose either Cloud or Sephiroth from the dropdown menu on our shop.
