NCS Preorder Synopsis
«©NCSX» The original Tactics Ogre game on the Super Famicom was one of those rarities where you'd start playing at 7PM and think to yourself, "I'm going to play for an hour and then eat dinner. I'm having my favorite tonight - frozen spinach lasagna." Upon starting the gaming session, you play and play and the next time you look up at the clock, it's already 2AM in the morning. You've missed dinner, the act of drinking water, showering, and you've probably only blinked five times so your eyes are pretty dry.
Tactics Ogre has beguiled players on the Playstation, Saturn, and it made its way to Wii Virtual Console last year. The upcoming PSP version of Tactics Ogre is a remake with a new subtitle of "Unmei no Wa" which translates to "Wheel of Fate." New features include an expanded storyline, a new heroine-knight named Raveness Loscaerion, an updated battle system, and other new systems. The Japanese love their systems. Preorders are welcome to ship on November 11, 2010. Early reservations will include a bonus Tactics Ogre Tarot Card that's being given away in 20% ratio.

TOYS Transformers MP-09 Rodimus Convoy - Japanese Preorder
NCS Preorder Synopsis
«©NCSX» Rodimus Convoy. That's a name that rolls off the tongue like a drop of honey. The next Transformers Masterpiece toy is RC and he's looking hot with an orange and crimson color scheme. The flaming logo on Rod's chest is also indicative of his intensity. Sorta. Rodimus can transform from humanoid robot to a sporty car which pulls a squat convoy trailer. The car + trailer conglomeration looks like a clumsy ambulance but we'll take it.
Preorders for the MP-09 Rodimus are welcome to ship in January 2011 at JPY16800 or US$189.90 from NCS.
TOYS Macross SDF-1 Perfect Transformation - Preorder
NCS Preorder Synopsis
«©NCSX» The "Super Dimensional Fortress Macross" was a battleship that was larger than a city and it was the focus of intense intergalactic drama. Although the original Macross series debuted nearly 30 years ago, the SDF-1 is timeless as shown in Yamato's new envisioning of the battleship that spawned an industry. The upcoming SDF-1 is a fully completed and transformable toy that's constructed of ABS, PVC, and zinc alloy which measures 40cm or 15.74" in length. According to Yamato, it's constructed to 1/3000 scale which sounds about right.
PSP Monster Hunter Character Airu Pouch for PSP - Preorder
NCS Preorder Synopsis
«©NCSX» Hori's Airu Pouch was released in Japan last month and it sold well. We're guessing Hori didn't expect the pouch to sell that well and they've already sold out. To make sure everyone who wants an Airu Pouch is going to get one, a new production has been announced which is expected to ship in early December.
The Airu Pouch is shaped like a taco shell... if taco shells had ears. The countenance of a wide-eyed Airu is plastered on the front of the pouch which is powerful branding. Well, to Monster Hunter players at least. Anyone else in the general population will look at the pouch and think it's a promotional item for a cat food company. The pouch is designed to hold any version of the PSP handheld and preorders are welcome to ship in December 2010 at JPY2000 or US$25.90 from NCS.
