NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» A millennium prior to the events in the first Shirokishi Monogatari (aka White Knight Chronicles) game, the empires of Athwan and Yshrenia are at war. Yshrenian ingenuity and craftsmanship has brought life to the Knights to help turn the tide. In Dogma Wars, players adopt the role of a hero named Kaicius who leads a battle unit known as the "Train Battalion." The name of the unit is apt because they operate out of a train... which is drawn by horses instead of steam or gasoline. Although steadfast in his unwavering support for Athwan, Kaicius has seen the might of the Knights and fears that Athwan cannot withstand an all-out assault. To fight back, the Train Battalion is on an all-out mission to destroy the Knights.
At the outset of the game, players can outfit the protagonist and customize his look by adjusting skin color, facial hair, hair style, hair color, and other variables. Once the character is customized, a cinematic introduction plays where the forces of Athwan are on the attack. The rabble of soldiers are backed up by a rampaging Knight whose sword cleaves through castle walls like they were nothing. Amidst the carnage, Kaicius witnesses the awesome might of the Knight and is smacked down... only to wake up to the twin-tailed visage of Anvietta. The two work together in the Train Battalion and are joined by others in a bid to topple the Knights and beat back the Yshrenian assault. The game is played in 3D where Kaishius runs around, interacts with NPCs, and battles foes. The style of fighting is somewhat similar to Koei's Sengoku Musou series of games but at a slower and more leisurely pace...

PSP Earth Defense Force 2 [Normal, Limited] - Import Preorder
NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» The big bugs are back in D3 Publisher's PSP conversion of their groundbreaking game which was originally released on the Playstation 2. The date: June 12, 2019 - Three months after repelling the first alien invasion as chronicled in the original Earth Defense Force, the UFOs and massive insects are back for a surprise encore. Once again, players suit up in body armor, take up the gun(s), and fire heavy ordnance to bust up chitinous exoskeletons.
The new alien attack vanguard targets London at first and eventually moves to Tokyo. Massive creatures including arachnids and insect invaders such as centipedes and flying ants are on the rampage and only a well armed soldier can stop their assault. Over 140 weapons are available for fending off the beasts including machine guns, rocket propelled grenades, and guided missiles. When the insects explode, they'll erupt into a dust cloud of yellowish debris but when UFOs are taken down, they'll explode into fiery conflagrations that will also destroy any insects that are nearby. Watching a bunch of ants swarm a building is fairly impressive. Destroying the building and watching it crush all of the ants that were once swarming is doubly so.
New to the PSP game are 4 additional missions for a total of 71 missions and ad hoc gameplay. In addition to the regular edition of the game, a "Double Recruit Pack" in also available for preorders which is packaged with a second copy of the game so two players can collaborate.
