«©NCSX» In the original Dokidoki Majo Shinpan! game from last year, a lad named Akuji Nishimura was recruited by an angel to ferret out a witch who had hidden herself in the population of Seirei Takagamine Junior High School. Sounds easy right? Just look for the pointy hat, the snaggle-tooth, and the oily boils on her face.

   Alas, it wasn't that easy and Akuji had to touch, fondle, and inspect a number of girls to find a "witch's mark" to verify the witch's identity. The mark was located on the witch's body and only careful examination and interrogation would reveal it. One interesting dynamic we noticed in the original game was the way breasts behaved when touched with the NDS stylus. In the world of Dokidoki Majo Shinpan, merely touching a girl's bosom would send the twins wobbling as if they had been juggled and jostled by a mysterious force. The game sold well (big surprise) and the sequel lands today.

   Akuji Nishimura reprises his role as a sleuth who gets an eyeful when hunting for clues on eight unsuspecting maidens including a pink-haired lassie named Kureha and a redheaded cosplayer named Neon. One of the girls has a twin which makes the examination process doubly intensive. The bosom will be targeted as expected but the derriere can also be wobbled and inspected during the course of a thorough investigation.

The original game bowed in Japanese arcades on July 28, 1992 and joined the flood of fighting games that were making their way to market at the time. While not wildly successful, SNK drove the World Heroes brand to four incarnations before the final game - World Heroes Perfect - was released on May 25, 1995. NCS Product Synopsis  

   Travel all the way back to the 90s when the NEOGEO brought arcade gaming home with titles that were the same as the ones at the local coin-operated amusement center. The NEOEO Mini features a 3.5" LCD screen but the built-in HDMI port pipes video to televisions and a pair of controller ports allow gamepads (sold separately) to be connected to the unit. The little cabinet sports speakers but a headphone jack is included. A save function is available by pressing the "START" and "SELECT" button simultaneously.
