TOYS SNK King Of Fighters '98 Bishoujo Mai Shiranui (2022) Preorder $150.98/each

 Product Synopsis

   ROUND ONE READY, GO!

The female fighter Mai Shiranui joins the BISHOUJO series for the first time from "KOF'98 Dream Match," which is often called the best entry in the "The King of Fighters" game series! The fascinating Kunoichi who fights with a fan is sculpted into a three-dimensional figure by the prototype master Keiki Fujimoto.

Starting with a healthy upper body wrapped in a red and white Kunoichi costume, a perfect balance between the back belt and buttocks, and the beautiful lines of the body from the exposed thighs to the back of the knees. It will explode in your room! The pedestal reproduces the road surface under the overpass of the JAPAN STREET stage, which has an anecdote that Osaka in Japan reproduced the front of the SNK headquarters that once existed in Esaka.

Please step into the KOF World, where you can enjoy content on almost all consoles, smartphones, and PCs, including this figure, and immerse yourself in its charm.

KOF Mai Shiranui Queen's Gate Figure - New Import

«©NCSX» In volume 4 of the Queen's Gate art book series, artist Mahiru Izumi depicted Mai Shiranui in a number of illustrations which may be described as ribald. Another word might be lecherous but that's what Queen's Gate is all about - ribald themes and lechery featuring heroines from Japanese pop culture. In one of Mahiru's illustrations, Mai wears a beautiful and brightly colored kimono which is halfway off and her voluptuous bosom is somewhat covered by her crossed arms. That illustration serves as the inspiration for the Mai Queen's Gate figure from Japanese toy manufacturer Volks.

A couple of months ago, Japanese mail-order outfit HobbyJapan started preorders for an exclusive toy figure from Volks which recreates Mai's kimono illustration in PVC form. The kimono is decorated with assorted flowers and the garment drapes loosely around her waist. Mai is barefoot and a little bit of leg may be spotted when viewing the figure from the front. A red/white hand fan gripped in Mai's right hand adds a bit of flair. Mai measures 16.50cm or roughly 6.50" in height and is fully painted, assembled, and ready for display. NCS received our shipment of the figures yesterday and all preorders have shipped out already. New orders are welcome to ship today at US$109.90 per figure.

KOF MI Regulation A Mai Shiranui Next Fight Ver - Preorder

«©NCSX» When King of Fighters was first released back in 1994, Mai Shiranui was a member of Team Gorgeous and wore a skimpy red outfit that would have worked well in a burlesque show. Nearly fifteen years after her debut to the world, Mai is exactly the same girl we knew way back when. She still wears the same skimpy outfit and is just as fresh-faced as she was from 1994.

Alphamax has started accepting reservations for a King of Fighters Maximum Impact Regulation A Mai Shiranui cold-cast figure which is set to 1/6 scale and is sculpted by 2%. Mai is in a crouching position and her hair swings to one side perhaps to illustrate that's she in a breezy spot.

Preorders are welcome to ship on or around March 11, 2009 at JPY15,800 or US$188.90 from NCS. Pricing reflects the strength of the Japanese Yen against the US Dollar and shipping costs from overseas.

Kinu Nishimura 1/6 scale Mai Shiranui - New, ALL GONE

Earlier this year, there was a bit of a panic because Max Factory opened and quickly closed preorders for the Kinu Nishimura Mai Shiranui figure which would ship on August 31, 2007. Those who missed out on the original preorder howled that the preorder window was too short and their outrage was palpable. Repeat: Palpable.

However, the cries of a thousand toy collectors were heard and Max Factory subsequently announced a second production of the figure which would ship from the manufacturer on November 30, 2007. After waiting for months, our collective wait is over and all preorders for the Mai Shiranui figure will ship this afternoon. The cardboard boxes that held our shipments of Mai Shiranui filled up major square footage yesterday and we're glad to be shipping pretty much everything out today.

The version of Mai featured in the Kinu Nishimura sculpt by Takeshi Hamasaki is the Capcom vs SNK 2 version with fair brown hair and big doe-like eyes. Mai measures 300mm or 11.81" tall and wears a willowy red outfit which drapes well and reveals enough skin to get voyeurs ogling. She's got legs that go on for days. When Mai's done with fighting, she can sign up with the Rockettes and kick it up with the other girls.

KOF Mai Shiranui 1/5 Scale PVC Figure

Mai has been serving her duties as objet d'art for a number of sculptors recently and sales have been expectedly good. To cash in on the flurry of Mai love this year, manufacturer Daiki Kogyou throws their hat into the ring and starts preorders for a 33cm (12.99") Mai statue that's scheduled to ship in December.
The version of Mai featured in the new sculpt is her classic King of Fighters incarnation where Mai is dressed in regulation issue red attire and her hair is tied up in a whippy ponytail. Mai sports a healthy bosom that's adequately restrained and her wide hips are clearly designed for child-bearing. We don't recall them being so expansive though...
Preorders are welcome to ship in mid-late December 2007 at JPY14000 or US$175 from NCS. Shipping costs will be weighty for this particular figure.

Aizu Project Mai Shiranui 1/7 Scale

Five years from now, we'll sit in our rocking chairs and reminisce about the summer of 2007. While rocking and smoking tobacco from whalebone pipes, the conversation will focus on how two highly desired Mai Shiranui toys came to market within a month of each other. Yep, the summer of 2007 was when two dueling renditions of the buxom woman-warrior both vied for the fancy of the fan base.

Whereas the Kinu Nishimura is based on the Capcom vs SNK 2 version of Mai with a slightly more rounded and open face, big beautiful eyes, and highly accentuated body proportions, the Aizu Project 19.50" tall sculpt by Shiragami Yakayuki is inspired by the Mai from the classic Garou Densetsu games. This is the Mai we grew up with - playful, wild, and sexy. Her face is sharp and thin, the body is bodacious, and the color scheme is traditional. The pose in the Aizu Project version is highly kinetic and is perhaps overly gratuitous. Edit: Painfully gratuitous.
