Moyashimon DS - New Import, Restock Soon

NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» Microbes such as bacteria, viruses, and fungi are everywhere but there's no need to tell that to Tadayasu Sawaki. He possesses a special gift which allows him to see microbes without a microscope and even communicate with them. In the Moyashimon (Tales of Agriculture) DS game, players take on the role of Tadayasu and fiddle around with his microbial friends by marshalling them in various situations. In other scenarios, unfriendly bacteria must be removed and extinguished by dragging them with the touch pen into specimen tubes. For example, in one sequence, a woman's feet are shown with festering bacteria making a nuisance of themselves. Your job is to tap and drag them away from the feet so that their malodorous menace is eliminated.

Dragon Ball: Tenkaichi Daibouken - New Import

NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» A pint-sized rendition of Son Goku stars as the protagonist in Bandai's Dragon Ball Tenkaichi Daibouken which plies the side scrolling, cel-shaded, platform action trade. These types of games are kinda rare these days but we tend to gravitate towards them whenever they make their way to market. Although the new Dragon Ball game scrolls from left to right, it also brims with 3D event scenes, special effects, and vibrant theatrics that may or may not add to the enjoyment of the platform gaming.

DB: Tenkaichi Daibouken follows the early travels of Son Goku as he ventures out into the world and faces off against the Red Ribbon Army, Piccolo, and Emperor Pilaf. Despite being a munchkin-sized warrior, Goku is nevertheless a one-man-army capable of beating back hordes of enemies with standard punches, kicks, and a few swings of his bo-staff. When the occasional calls, Goku can summon forth the Kamehameha to blow away formidable attackers who aren't easily swatted away by his staff. When traversing the stages, Goku can jump and pounce forward to get through obstacles. The game allows players to control Goku with a combination of the Nunchuk and Wii Remote, the Classic Controller, or a Gamecube pad.

Katamari Damacy Tribute - New Import, In Stock

NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» Namco released the original Katamari Damacy on the PS2 in 2004 and has migrated the franchise to all other major platforms since then. The new PS3 rendition of the game is more of the same where players maneuver a magnetic nucleus of material that attracts anything and everything in its path. Bottles, boxes, donuts, people, cows, and even buildings are all fair game as the growing morass of material scales ever larger. At the outset of each level, the camera stays close to the Katamari since it's small and manageable but as it snowballs into something bigger, the camera pans out to take in all of its girth and glory. Katamari Damacy Tribute features a Story Mode and visual "skins" to make the game's graphics appear wood-grained, cel-shaded, or "new." Katamari supports 1080p for a high resolution playground to view but the objects in the game world still exhibit their jagged-edged charm. For example, the humans in Katamari are designed with a blocky finish and are seemingly robotic.

Project Witch - New Import, In Stock

NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» Three bright-eyed and short of stature witch sisters named Marl, Lilte, and Shell are inducted into an interactive adventure game that takes place over the course of a summer. The publisher touts a total of over 350 scenarios that the girls may engage and a large number of costumes to wear during said scenarios.

At the outset of the game, players sit through an introductory sequence which takes place at a school where a few of the cast members make an appearance. After the initial greetings, The protagonist chooses one of the three witches to spend the entire summer with. Once the little witch is chosen, she'll appear on the screen and speak to the protagonist (that's you) and other characters who appear alongside her to provide dramatic foil. In the early going, simple exercises must be mastered in order to progress to some mini-games as follows:

Dancing Witch - Watch a witch boogie down to pop music; players will get to maneuver a camera to capture all of her moves and arm motions.
Fighting Witch - 2D fighting game where squat baby-girl witches battle each other with surprising intensity and fire in their eyes.

There's also an OMAKE mini-game where players view a house from the side and watch as a witch lives her life and walks around the rooms.

Rosario to Vampire Capu 2 - New Import, In Stock

NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» The cast of Rosario to Vampire are perfectly agreeable archetypes to be used in a romance adventure game and that's what they're doing this summer.

The game opens up on a street scene where Moka Akashiya is standing between two buildings next to a brute. The protagonist is a new character who gets entangled in the world of Youkai Academy where the students are all monsters. Thanks to a swipe from the brute, Moka falls and gets her knee scraped in the early sequence of the game before heading to school. Once at school, a procession of characters from the manga/anime serial appear and provide banter and drama. The voice actresses from the animated series were tapped to provide the speech in the game and their performances are emotive as well as expressive. Note however that the protagonist's voice isn't heard and only his green-tinted speech bubble appears to show his commentary on each scenario. Players interact and perhaps go on a date with the various characters such as Moka, Kokoa Shuzen (redheaded half-sibling of Moka), Yukari Sendou (witch), Kurumu Kurono (blue-haired lassie), and Mizore Shirayuki (girl with purple hair).

Toro to Morimori (トロともりもり) - New Import, In Stock

NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» Toro the white cat has been Sony's Japanese mascot since the days of the original Playstation and his 10th Anniversary with the company is celebrated this year. To mark the event, Toro gets recruited into a new traveling adventure + mini game collection for the PS3 that's scheduled to ship this summer. Sony touts over 30 mini-games where up to four players engage including soccer ball balancing, wilderness darts, wading in a river, snake apple eating, and many more. Successfully completing the mini-games will open up new stories for Toro and friends to take part in and explore more mini-games.
The snake apple game will be getting the most play at NCS - you control a segmented snake on an isometric playfield and the goal is to eat apples to increase the snake segment by segment. Opposing snakes also slither around so you'll have to watch your snake's tail lest it be consumed. Short snakes are easy prey for big snakes in the game.
