DVD Tougeki 07 Super Battle DVD Vol 2 - Melty Blood Act Cadenza Ver B - Sale US$33.90

NCS Product Synopsis
Update: October 25, 2007
«©NCSX» Japan's got talent when it comes to game designers as well as game players. Make that hardcore game players who evidently have all the time in the world to hone their craft and precision through hundreds of hours of practice. This is evident in spades with Enterbrain's second Tougeki '07 Super Battle DVD which features crisp video captures of expert players pummeling each other in Melty Blood Act Cadenza Ver. B.

Earlier this year, a national Melty Blood Act Cadenza tournament was held in Japan where players conglomerated together to test their skills against each other. Slowly but surely, the cream of the crop rose to the top until the two best players were pitted against each other for a bout that would thrill all in attendance.

Since most Americans missed out on the tournament, Enterbrain steps in with a 90-minute DVD which features bouts from the tournament finals and the ultimate battle between the top players. The video is spooled directly from the coin-op machine's feed so anyone who's fearful of shaky-cam antics can rest assured that there'll be none of that here. The DVD is region-2 and will work on Japanese DVD players or multi-region players.

BOOK The Eyes of Bayonetta - New Import, In Stock

NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» Bayonetta was/is a hot game. We're still replaying it. Whenever a new Bayonetta-related product is announced, we'll order it for ourselves even if we don't bring it in for mass consumption since there's a global recession going on and yadda yadda yadda. Even if a company is crazy enterprising enough to solicit preorders for Bayonetta hair extensions or Bayonetta soup dumplings, we're going to get them.

Enterbrain's The Eyes of Bayonetta book isn't a crazy kind of product. It'll actually sell more than 3 copies because it's a comprehensive tome packed full of designs, illustrations, and artwork of the heroine Bayonetta, the cast of characters, locations, and the weapons featured in the game. What we're most interested in perusing through are the illustrations of characters and weapons that weren't used in the game but are featured in the book. As an added bonus, a DVD is included which contains staff commentary on the design process and how Bayonetta went from pencil sketch to full-blown action heroine. As second bonus, two foldout posters are included in the book. All preorders and new orders are shipping this afternoon at JPY3500 or US$68.90 from NCS. Pricing reflects the overnight shipping costs to import a 233-page hardcover book from Japan to the USA.
