CDM Piano Collections Final Fantasy XIII - New, In Stock

NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» Tickling the ivories and creating beautiful music isn't something that all mortals are capable of. In other words, all men aren't created equal when it comes to playing the piano, along with a host of other things. One artist who's been tickling a storm out of the ivories is Aki Kuroda and she collaborates with composer Masashi Hamauzu once again to create Piano Collections Final Fantasy XIII. Aki's formidable skills are on display where she recreates entire FFXIII songs with only a piano at her disposal and no accompaniment from wind or percussion instruments.

Piano Collections Final Fantasy XIII contains 10 tracks including the whimsical "FINAL FANTASY XIII - The Promise ~ The Sunleth Waterscape" and the cheery "Vanille's Theme ~ Memories of Happier Days ~ The Road Home." The full track listing may be viewed on NCS' product page for the disc along with a link to Square's official website which contains samples of the songs included in the new Piano Collection. The first printing of the CD includes a bonus slipcase which won't be present in the second printing.

PS3 Final Fantasy XIII Lightning Edition Bundle Deluxe

NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» Square Enix localizes Final Fantasy XIII in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Taiwan this week with a Chinese language rendition of the game. Since anyone in those territories (who really really wanted to play the game) has already played the Japanese or North American version of FFXIII already, Square had to think of a gimmick to convince fans to purchase the game again. The gimmick was a multi-pronged one as follows:

Final Fantasy XIII Lightning Edition Bundle Deluxe Contents
» Final Fantasy XIII game (Chinese with English/Korean subtitles)
» Dual Shock 3 controller with pink Lightning imprint
» FFXIII Original Soundtrack (10 tracks)
» FFXIII CG Illustrations Booklet
» FFXIII Character Poster
» Original FFXIII Sleeve Case
» Playstation Network Card (One of four types for Premium Avatar DLC)
» Sony HDMI Cable (Packaged separately from the FFXIII box)

All re-confirmed preorders at the price of US$138.90 will ship today and new orders are welcome for dispatch this afternoon.

CD Final Fantasy XIII Original Soundtrack Plus - Preorder

NCS Preorder Synopsis - Update: April 08, 2010
«©NCSX» Let us count the FFXIII soundtracks that have already been released thus far:

1) Final Fantasy XIII Kimi ga Irukara [Regular and Limited Edition]
2) Final Fantasy XIII Original Soundtrack [Regular and Limited Edition]
3) W/F: Music From Final Fantasy XIII [Vinyl LP]

That's enough music for most games but not for a Final Fantasy game. To hammer home the point that more music is needed, Square has started preorders for Final Fantasy XIII Original Soundtrack Plus which features BGM from overseas versions of FFXIII and new arrangements composed by Masashi Hamauzu. The "Plus" soundtrack takes up two CDs and preorders are welcome to ship on May 26, 2010 at JPY2500 or US$30.90 from NCS.

GEAR Final Fantasy XIII Serah Earring - New Import, Sold Out

NCS Product Synopsis
Update: April 05, 2010
«©NCSX» Cosplayers hoping to capture Serah Fallon's look are already hard at work assembling and constructing the various pieces of her outfit. Serah's overall look is youthful and her clothes reflect a teenage bent that might be found on a high school campus. There's leggings, a necklace, bracelet, hair band, and a plaid skirt with lacy lingerie underlay among other pieces. The lingerie portion of Serah's skirt looks a little trashy but nevermind that. At least she isn't wearing her underwear outside her skirt.

Serah also wears a pair of cat earrings where each kitty's tail dangles downwards and terminates with a diamond. Well, it's probably not a real diamond from the likes of DeBeers but more like a cubic zirconium. The earrings are made of silver and measure 10 x 4 x 2cm (3.93 x 1.57 x 0.787") in dimension. Preorders have shipped as of last Friday but please note the earrings are currently sold out from Square. «NCS Photo Gallery»

GEAR Final Fantasy XIII Lightning Strap - New Import, In Stock

NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» Lightning struck (sorry) when Final Fantasy XIII shipped on the Japanese Playstation 3 late last year to eager fans around the globe. Sure, most stateside players couldn't read the text in the adventure but that didn't stop gamers from doling out a nifty US$100 for a chance to check out the latest Final Fantasy adventure. A treasure trove of merchandise has already been released to dovetail with the game but Square keeps the gravy train rolling with some more goodies this year.

For the first week of March, NCS brings in the FFXIII Original Lightning Strap which features a black metal plate with silver-colored trim that's jagged like a bolt of lightning. Get it? Lightning. The plate measures H15 x W29 x D2mm in dimension and a pair of Swarovski crystals are embedded on one end of the bolt. A second smaller plate measuring H35 x W5 x D1mm is also tethered to the retaining loop. In addition to serving as a strap accessory, the metal lightning bolt may also be used as a pendant or an earring. Probably. «NCS Photo Gallery»

NEWS General Updates

The LP is a Square e-shop exclusive but some of our Japanese vendors will be able to stock them for us. Please note that pricing reflects handling charges from overseas and preorders are welcome to ship on or around Feb 26, 2010.

NEWS Email Corruption A batch of about 30~35 emails were corrupted yesterday and the messages appear to have disappeared from the face of the Earth. If you sent an email over the weekend and/or on Monday and haven't received a reply yet, please resend it since it was probably one of the emails affected by the HDD corruption.

DRINK Final Fantasy XIII Elixir Complete Edition - In Stock

NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» The FFXIII Elixir Complete Edition was released last week and distributors have finally gotten around to procuring inventory for us. Please note each FFXIII Elixir Complete Edition box is huge.... and obnoxiously heavy... and our offer price reflects the shipping charges to import this beast from Japan into the United States. The box of the FFXIII Elixir CE is roughly triple the size of the Final Fantasy VII 10th Anniversary Potion Limited Edition.

Each complete set includes sixteen cans of carbonated "Elixir" which we don't recommend drinking and an FFXIII Elixir tumbler that's made of stainless steel with a plastic outer shell. The production of the Complete Edition is limited to only 30,000 sets and a serially numbered plate is included in each box. New orders are welcome.

NEWS Chronology of Final Fantasy XIII

«©NCSX» How last Thursday panned out with the debut of FFXIII.

10:36AM - UPS arrives. Lots of boxes to unload. Move two "flatbed" style handtrucks down to help UPS driver bring the shipments in. Why are the FFXIII Lightning Bundle boxes so &%#($@ heavy?
11:02AM - Finish unloading. Now all of the inventory has to be counted and sorted to make sure nothing was pilfered, crushed, or inundated with water while in transit from Japan to New York.
11:18AM - Everything looks good. Now the packing starts. Hundreds upon hundred of boxes have to go out today. Or there'll be hell to pay. The Postal shipments have to go out sooner since the Postal Service has an earlier cutoff time; UPS gives us some leeway at the end of the day where they'll pick up at around 6PM or 7PM for later shipments.
12:11PM - Lunch? No, we won't be having any of that today. There won't be any afternoon tea and scones either.
12:17PM - Why are the Lightning bundles so &%#($@ heavy?
03:13PM - Midway. We're on track to get everything out but there's a little bit of trepidation in the air since time seems to stream faster on big days like this. Nothing compares to the day we got Ikaruga on Dreamcast though...
05:28PM - UPS arrives. We need a little more time and there's about 80 packages remaining to be packed. We ask for, and receive, a much appreciated 30 minute reprieve.
06:02PM - UPS returns again. We're almost ready but there's a few more boxes to be packed and taped up. While the truck is being loaded, everything else will be finished and ready to go.
06:12PM - Database uploads for shipment confirmations are being prepared.
06:37PM - Some administrative duties need to be completed.
07:13PM - Friday's orders and shipments are being prepared.
08:47PM - Almost done and the garage closes in 13 minutes.
08:59PM - Escape from NCS' premises... in the nick of time.
