TOYS Shooting Game Historica 3 SP - Photo Gallery

NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» The third series of Shooting Game Historica gashapon toys celebrate a jetfighter, a tank, a submarine, and even a robot which can rest on 2 or 4 legs. The default ships featured in the new set are as follows:

» Wolf Fang - Blue armored mech which carries a blaster rifle
» Raiden - Sleek Raiden mk-II (Red) with movable boosters
» Soukyugurentai - S.O.Q-004 Toryu with multiple movable parts
» Kaitei Daisensou: In the Hunt - Squat submarine designed by Irem
» Maneuver Cepter Granada - A blue tank with moxie and a gun turret
» Star Soldier - The Ceaser which features a transformable cockpit

Each of the six aforementioned ships is also accompanied by a color or style variant in each box of 12 toys as follows below:

» Wolf Fang - Model variant with shoulder cannon and no shoulder struts
» Raiden mk-IIb (Blue color variant)
» Soukyugurentai - S.O.Q-004 (Blue color variant)
» Kaitei Daisensou: In the Hunt (Blue color variant)
» Maneuver Cepter Granada - Model variant with two additional parts
» Star Soldier - Red trim color variant; the cockpit hatch is colored blue

Every factory sealed box of Shooting Game Historica 3 SP toys contains all 12 ships listed above. Both versions of the Wolf Fang toy also include an additional pair of legs and a platform-pelvis to attach the legs to. The Wolf Fang figure may be detached at the torso area from his normal legs and then plugged into the platform-pelvis to create a spidery version of Wolf Fang that may be wheeled along like a little race car.

Although the quality of the ships in SGH3 is good, NCS advises taking some precautions when fiddling around with the Soukyugurentai ships since the wing hatches are delicate. They also open only one way so take care to inspect our photos to see how the hatches should be oriented and opened. The other ships are pretty sturdy and unlikely to snap or crack under the weight of your fingers. NCS took about 200 photos of the toys over the weekend and we've culled roughly 70 pictures for our obligatory Shooting Game Historica 3 image gallery which shows all 12 ships.

TOYS Shooting Game Historica 3 SP - New Import, In Stock

NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» The third series of Shooting Game Historica 3 gashapon toys was released on Wednesday in Japan and NCS received our entire shipment today. The complete roster of ships in the set is as follows:

» Wolf Fang - Blue armored mech which carries a blaster rifle
» Raiden - Raiden mk-II (red) or Raiden mk-IIb (blue)
» Soukyugurentai - S.O.Q-004 Toryu with multiple movable parts
» Kaitei Daisensou: In the Hunt - Squat submarine designed by Irem
» Maneuver Cepter Granada - A blue tank with moxie
» Star Soldier - The Ceaser which features a transformable cockpit

The blue Raiden mk-IIb was missing in the Shooting Game Historica 3 gashapon version from last month but it is included in the SP set. The mk-IIb is painted with a pretty pastel blue color and each of the other five ships also has a color or model variant. The default color for the Soukyugurentai S.O.Q-004 ship is red and its variant color is pastel-blue with shades of gray. The orange submarine from In the Hunt is also available in a light-blue model and the variant Ceaser features red trim instead of blue trim in the default model. The quality of the ships is admirable for the price point that they're offered at and we're pleased with Yujin's level of craftsmanship. Due to time constraints this morning (translation: Monster Hunter 3 arrived), a photo gallery of the original and variant ships will be posted on Monday morning. All preorders for the Shooting Historica 3 SP sets will ship today and new orders are welcome at US$68.90 per factory sealed box of 12 toys.

Shooting Game Historica 3 - New Import, Split Shipments

NCS Product Synopsis
©NCSX» Over the past year, the Shooting Game Historica series of toys has been some of NCS' most popular products. We get to sell the gashapon sets which are packaged in plastic capsules and then we also peddle the "SP" re-renditions which are boxed in fancy cardboard containers. It's sort of like selling the same toys twice. Yujin released the third set of Shooting Game Historica toys last month which feature ships from another six games as follows:

» Wolf Fang - Blue armored mech which carries a blaster rifle
» Soukyugurentai - S.O.Q-004 Toryu with multiple movable parts
» Raiden - Raiden mk-II (red) or Raiden mk-IIb (blue)
» Kaitei Daisensou: In the Hunt - Squat submarine designed by Irem
» Maneuver Cepter Granada - A blue tank with moxie
» Star Soldier - The Ceaser which features a transformable cockpit

Please note that Yujin only shipped the Raiden mk-II in red and canceled production of the blue variant toy. The Kaitei Daisensou sub is accompanied by a miniature pink sub (single piece construction). New features on some of the ships are movable parts - for example, hatches on the submarine open up to reveal weaponry and the Ceaser's cockpit transforms.

NCS received the first batch of Shooting Game Historica Vol. 3 yesterday and preorders have begun shipping out. Please note however that some shipments of this particular toy haven't arrived yet although they should be delivered within the next few days. Since we haven't received the entire shipment of toys yet, we're holding off on the obligatory photo gallery since filling preorders takes priority.

Per normal NCS gashapon sales convention, we're gathering together all six ships and supplying them in complete sets at US$28.90.

NCS expects the S.P. edition of Shooting Game Historica Vol. 3 to be released next month and preorders will ship roughly 1-2 weeks after they have shipped from Yujin in the Japanese marketplace.

Shooting Game Historica Vol. 3 - Import Preorder

«©NCSX» Over the past year, the Shooting Game Historica series of toys has been some of NCS' most popular products. We get to sell the gashapon sets which are packaged in plastic capsules and then we also peddle the "SP" re-renditions which are boxed in fancy cardboard containers. It's sort of like selling the same toys twice. Yujin has started preorders for the third set of Shooting Game Historica toys which feature ships from another six games as follows:

» Wolf Fang - Blue armored mech which carries a blaster rifle
» Soukyugurentai - S.O.Q-004 Toryu with multiple movable parts
» Raiden - Raiden mk-II (red) or Raiden mk-IIb (blue)
» Kaitei Daisensou: In the Hunt - Squat submarine designed by Irem
» Maneuver Cepter Granada - A blue tank with moxie
» Secret ship - To be unveiled later

Please note that Yujin will produce two Raiden ships in red or blue and NCS will fill preorders with either a red or blue Raiden ship.

NCS received the ship prototype sales sheet which shows the ships in their unpainted form but we'll throw up the production photos once Yujin releases them to toy distributors in Japan. As usual, we'll post a photo gallery of all the ships once we receive the toys from overseas. The silhouette of the sixth ship shown at the bottom of the second page sort of looks like the ship from PC-Engine Override... except the guns in front are too pointy.

Per normal SGH sales convention, NCS will gather together all six ships and supply them in complete sets at US$26.90. As mentioned earlier, we will fill preorders with either a red or blue Raiden mk-II. Reservations are welcome to ship in mid-late March 2009.

NCS expects Yujin to announce the S.P. edition of Shooting Game Historica Vol. 3 next month for delivery sometime in May 2009.
