SALE Narikiri Jockey Game Yuushun Rhapsody (Japan-GBA) US$46.98/ea

NCS Product Synopsis

Update: June 29, 2001
«©NCSX» The "Sport of Kings" attracts proponents and purveyors from all levels of society. Join those lovers of all things equine by becoming a virtual horseman who works on a ranch located upon a tranquil hillock. The master of the ranch raises horses, breeds them and his hired hands soothe their harried spirits when occasion calls. Searching out strong bloodlines for birth forth new generations of champions is also requisite.

The reward for giving all this love sits in the specious world of horse racing where victory is never assured and dreams run in fleeting slivers of seconds. Contribute to the success of the ranch by improving your skills via mini-games and by riding horses with skill in races. The beginning of the game requires a short trial where the player races a horse across the length of a track to prove his worth.

Horse racing games satisfy a very small niche in America, marking their turf firmly in Japan but there is an audience of sorts for this type of game. Yushun Rhapsody supports the Mobile Adaptor for linking with ethereal players to race steeds over the wireless spectrum.

SALE Mario Party Advance (In Stock, JPN-GBA] US$78.98/each

NCS Product Update

07/17/24 06:12 PM Product Condition

This is a new Japanese GBA game but we learned recently that VGA won't grade games that have imperfections on the cardboard box. For example, on these particular copies of Mario Party Advance, the seams on the cardboard side flaps appear slightly stressed even if the flaps have never been opened. However, VGA will refuse to grade Japanese Gameboy Advance games that might look like they've been opened even if they haven't based on these stressed flaps. VGA will also charge you their grading fee even if they don't perform the grading due to the stressed flaps.

The stress may come from overseas shipping since these were sent from Japan nearly 20 years ago or from rubbing against other games in warehouse storage. Putting pressure on the cardboard box on either the front or back will also stress the flaps as the box is even slightly squeezed inwards. We placed these particular copies of Mario Party inside our own heat-sealed acid-free plastic bag about 18 years ago since GBA games are not naturally shrink-wrapped from the factory and we figured adding an extra layer of protection can't hurt.

Using acid-free storage bags ensures that we won't have to re-wrap the games over and over again to avoid acid-buildup in some forms of plastic bags that will leech acid after a five or so in storage.

Mario Party Advance (2005)

Brand New Factory Boxed Japan Gameboy Advance Import

NCS Product Synopsis

Update: January 12, 2005
«©NCSX» In the annals of gaming, few genres offer as much variety and value as the mini-game collection. To this end, Nintendo exploits the Mario Party franchise once more in a GBA version of their popular series. Mario and crew join together for a rousing good time in mini-games such as fishing, balancing on top of Koopa Troopers, running 'n jumping, shooting, and other tried and true themes that are well suited to short and sweet interactions. New to the format is the introduction of Professor E. Gadd's special Gaddgets which are little tools and tricks that add to the interaction. Nintendo touts over 50 games in Mario Party Advance which should keep portable players busy.

GBA Mobile Professional Baseball (Sale, 2001) Offer $39.98/each

NCS Product Synopsis

Release Date: July 24, 2001
«©NCSX» Eschewing baseball players hefting cylindrical polygonal bodies and spherical heads, Konami's latest besuboro game grants it's players normal bodies with standard proportions. All twelve Japanese professional baseball teams are represented including the Hanshin Tigers, Yokohama Bay Stars, and the Seibu Lions. Unlike previous Konami endeavors in the national pastime, the game does away with actual action and goes with point and click routines where you manage your team and choose the attitude, stance, and predisposition of your players.

The game animates beautifully and shows off the potential for real-life action should Konami ever take that tack. Players may engage in an exhibition game or take on an entire season and battle through the ranks of Japanese professionals.

Orders ship same-day if placed before 4PM EDT.
