Ms Kurae looks older than the DS lolitas but she makes up for her years with an outfit and overall appearance that's gothic enough to allow her passage into an exclusive club.

The Cafe Ekaterina Kurae figure from Evolution Toy is sculpted to no particular scale but she measures 17cm (6.69") tall and is articulated for posing purposes. «©NCSX» The Jolly Roger is an ominous symbol that's recognized by seamen and pirates who sail the high seas. The latter group is usually on the water with the sole intent of robbing folks of their loot. In modern land society, the skull and crossbones symbol isn't really found anywhere except on packs of vermin bait and bottles of poison. It is an oddity then that Cospa has announced new preorders for eating utensils which are topped by the Jolly Roger - a fork and a spoon that are accompanied by a symbol of poison. If NCS was to consult our feng-shui master for his advice, we're fairly certain he'd look at the utensils for about 3 seconds and then shake his head in disdain. Sharp objects, decay, and corpselike imagery are generally taboo in feng-shui.

EAT Stitch Ice Cream Maker - Import Preorder

«©NCSX» On a recent visit to Toys R' Us, one of the toys on the shelves was a flimsy-looking ice cream maker that was made of plastic. Two happy kids were on the cardboard box cover and they appeared to be having a blast making ice cream. It was comical, sad, and ludicrous at the same time.

Then we saw the Stitch Ice Cream Maker in one of this week's new preorder solicitations from overseas. We had to get one. Even if it would never be used to make ice cream, we had to have one. Sega's behind this particular ice cream contraption and if we're to believe the instructions, a can filled with ice cubes, some simple ingredients, and a liberal amount of hand cranking is all that's needed to make ice cream. The photo included in the preorder solicitation depicts ice cream that looks like it just came out of a professional dispenser. Preorders are welcome to ship in July 2010 at US$26.90 from NCS. Please note that it's almost a certainty that the quality of ice cream that's churned from the Stitch Ice Cream Maker will be bad.

NDS Dragon Quest Monster Joker 2 Pouch - Import Preorder

«©NCSX» When Square Enix ships the DQM Joker 2 game towards the end of April 2010, they'll also release a DQM Joker 2 themed carrying pouch which features an etching of the game's protagonist on its face. The top of the cloth pouch closes by pulling on the built-in drawstring which seals the contents securely. The DQM pouch measures 17 x 10 x 2cm in dimension and will be packaged in a cardboard-backed blister pack.

The books are compilations of horror stories which involve Japanese characters at school, at work, and around town. The Nintendo DS Kaidan software features 100 stories from the animation which was supervised by the producer of the television serial. In the Nintendo DS game based on the show, Imoto travels to different places to find assorted animals and compete in mini-games against them. To embellish to figure with exacting details, the hair and beard of whiplash has been hand-painted and his face is full of world-weary wrinkles. TOYS Queens Blade Reina 1/6 Scale Figure - Import Preorder

«©NCSX» Daiki Kougyo has created some exceptional figures in their history and we've collected all of them. The cost gets a little excessive at times but the figures are scaled large and the quality is generally of a higher caliber which justifies the lofty ticket prices. The Koyori figure comes to mind as an exceptional piece along with the Kanu Unchou Miko version. For their next project, Daiki is bringing the image of Queens Blade's Reina to PVC as sculpted by Shunji Hagii. Reina measures 26cm or 10.24" tall.

Daiki's recreation of Reina shows her in a staggering posture. Her knees are about to knock together and her breastplate has apparently splintered away into nothingness. To retain her modesty, Reina wrestles her right arm around her bosom in a futile attempt to shield it from the view of voyeurs. «©NCSX» The Pugi of Monster Hunter fame have been making the rounds in the Japanese toy market and they've become desirable in the past few months. The latest needful entry in the world of Pugi is Banpresto's Monster Hunter Super DX Ohirune Pugi which is a pillow in the likeness of an bright-eyed and amiable piglet. Each Pugi pillow measures 30cm or 11.81" in length and is made of soft plushy material that'll serve as a comfortable cushion to rest your weary head. As if to mimic the act of sleeping, the Pugi are positioned in a relaxed posture.

Two styles are on offer: A "Memories Stripe" Pugi which wears a blue and white striped jacket and a Pink Pugi who wears a pink bandana around its blubbery neck along with a pink and white striped garment around its midriff. TOYS Sega Taikan Game Collection - Import Preorder Update

«©NCSX» The Sega Taikan Toys were originally scheduled to ship in April of last year but then the manufacturer delayed it to October 2009. When October rolled around, the toys were delayed again to December. Come December, the toys were delayed again to April 2010. Well, it's almost April and Sega Taikan has been delayed once again to May 2010 but the packaging form factor of the toys have also been changed.

The manufacturer Organic has canceled all existing preorders for the Sega Taikan collection and is soliciting reservations for a new collection. Instead of the factory box of six toys featured in the original set, the new preorder offer is for a total of ten toys packaged in a factory sealed box. The pricing has been raised from JPY4284 to JPY7800 (US$93.90) and NCS is accepting new reservations today.

«©NCSX» Brand new and factory boxed Sega Saturn Keyboard for use with any version of the Sega Saturn console hardware. A standard Saturn connector cable is hardwired to the underside of the hardware.. The keyboard may be used with a software title called Habitat II and with the Net Link which allows users to go online with the Saturn. Other than these applications, there isn't much use for the Saturn Keyboard nowadays other than novelty or as a piece of curio from Sega's storied history.

Product Condition
NCS' remaining inventory is brand new and factory boxed in the original cardboard containers. The condition of the packaging is in excellent shape with all remaining inventory in like new and undamaged condition. We found a few cases of the keyboards that weren't even opened and the ship date from Tokyo was January 28, 1998 with the original UPS label and pro forma invoices intact.

NDS Hakuouki DS Limited Edition - New Import, In Stock

«©NCSX» Originally released for the PS2 in the autumn of 2008 and then ported over to the PSP last summer, Idea Factory rehashes Hakuouki once again for the Nintendo DS. The game is based on the Hakuouki Shinsengumi Kitan animated serial which features a cast of chiseled lads who all sport healthy heads of feathery hair. The boys are all noticeably feminine in terms of facial features, sleek, lanky, and some are even brooding.
The protagonist in the game is a physician's daughter in Edo-era Japan. One day, the doctor goes to Kyoto on an assignment for the Shogunate but seemingly disappears. The heroine resolves to go into Kyoto herself to search for her father and in the interim, meet a bunch of boys who'll help her and potentially fall in love with her. The Nintendo DS conversion of the game features voice acting and a 500-question quiz game which is all about the Hakuouki game. «©NCSX» In the Saki-Saki manga/animation series, a girl named Saki Miyanaga has perfected the art of breaking even (+/- zero score) on every mahjong game that she plays. Her unusual proclivity and luck leads her to the school mahjong club followed by the national mahjong tournament.
Join three heroines named Saki, Nodoka, and Yuki in bouts of PSP mahjong action. Life is quiet so Tomoki gets his kicks by being a peeping tom who has a number of prime viewing areas that he has mapped around town. Tomoki would be content to live this way forever but one night, a strange event changes his life forever. While watching the sky with two friends, an object falls from the heavens which turns out to be a female being known as an Angeloid. Her name is Ikaros and she sports a shock of pink hair, angel wings, and a large bosom. Ikaros bonds with Tomoki and takes him on a radical change of life experiences.

The PSP game plies the interactive adventure trade which features a new story based on the animated source material. The dialogue is accompanied by speech for added ambience. At the outset of the adventure, the somewhat mechanical song of the cicada signals the approach of summer. Once the warm weather arrives, the citizenry of Sorami visit hot springs, the beach, parks, and other locations that are amenable to lazy day lounging and sloth. It is within this backdrop that the cast of the PSP game interact, utilize card magic, and effect changes in the Angeloids that populate the adventure. In particular, mistress Etna was exceptionally hungry for her dessert in the original game which Prinny helped to satiate. In the sequel, a panty-thieving fiend has snuck into Etna's boudoir and spirited away her skivvies. We imagine them to be lacy, dainty, and irresistible to the type of individual who steals underwear. That's where Prinny rolls in once again to bring back Etna's drawers before outright war is announced.

Similar to the first game, Prinny runs from left to right across platform stages and attacks with both sword and eldritch magic. Brand new enemies, challenges, and new Prinny techniques give the sequel added attraction for fans. Prinny may perform the following moves:

Kojiro's a hard luck detective with a thin client list and an office near warehouses while Marina is an ace agent who has solved nearly every case she has been assigned. One day while on a case, the dynamic duo stumble onto something bigger and more sinister than anything they've worked on before.

Eve Burst Error was originally released for the Japanese PC in 1995 and the game was upgraded and converted for the Sega Saturn in 1997. The game has sold over 350,000 copies in Japan and has spawned a number of sequels. In 2003, a Playstation 2 remake titled Eve Burst Error Plus was released which featured updated visuals, animations, and aurals. Fast forward to 2010 and Kadokawa Shoten returns to the till for another remake - this time on the portable confines of the PSP.

The visual style featured in Eve the First is a complete revamp over the original game and the producers are adding a new scenario, new supporting characters, and updated music tracks. Kojiro and Marina have been rendered to look edgier, more fashionable, and have a new glossiness about them. The game system has also been updated so that the story flows more freely and is paced like a visual novel.
