SS Shining Force III Scenario 1 US$58.98 (Sale Offer)

 NCS Product Synopsis

Original Release Date December 11, 1997

Since we believed, we invested heavily in Sega Saturn software purchases. Investments were so heavy that over 20 years after initial delivery, we still have lots of Saturn games in stock. Here's one Saturn soft which we'll probably have in storage for the next three decades.

ASSTD Warehouse Removal Item #5 Four Console PC-Boards

NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» We once had free reign in the business of console mods but the world changed and NCS' daily trade went in another direction. Doing so many mods every week back then led to the procurement of a lot of surplus boards that we kept in stock for testing, hacking, and development. This product listing is for four console boards as follows (from the upper left of the photo and going clockwise):

1) Sony Playstation SCPH-100x console board
2) Gamecube console board with heat sink intact
3) Sega Saturn console board
4) Sega Dreamcast console board

The Playstation and Dreamcast boards have chips attached but since they're evil, we're going to remove them and toss them into the bin before shipping the boards to our customer. You can however admire the modification handiwork, the color-coded wiring, and the clean solder connections in the photos. Please note that the boards are most likely non-working and they're priced accordingly at US$35.90 for the complete set of four which includes free shipping by UPS Ground within the continental United States. If they do work, then we've made a dumb mistake in pricing them too low. NCS is selling the console boards AS-IS. We have about 2 more weeks before we vacate the old warehouse and most of the inventory has been moved or sold. We'll try selling whatever remains over the next few days in single lots as well as bulk lots. «NCS Photo Gallery»

TEE Saturn Logo T-Shirt - Import Preorder

NCS Preorder Synopsis
«©NCSX» Some things that we still remember from the days of the 32-bit console generation in the U.S. and Japan include:

1) Sony's "U R not e" advertising campaign in North America
2) Selling Japanese Playstation consoles at launch for about $1100 each
3) Being perturbed that Toshinden was selling better than Virtua Fighter
4) Modifying hundreds of Saturn consoles every week for months on end

The font of the Sega Saturn logo doesn't come to mind as memorable but we're reminded of it in Cospa's upcoming Saturn Logo T-Shirt where the "Sega Saturn" text is printed on the bottom of the shirt. Tuck the shirt in and the tee is no longer a "Sega Saturn Logo" shirt. Funny how that works. Preorders are welcome to ship in late Aug 2010 at JPY2800 or US$39.90.

SOTW SS Pro Commander for Sega Saturn - Clearance

NCS Sale of the Week Offering: May 24, 2010
Original Release in Japan: July 10, 1996
«©NCSX» Brand new and factory packaged SS Pro Commander for the Sega Saturn which is the only controller we've ever stocked that is packed with a user manual that's as big as a poster. Really. As big as a poster to explain the myriad functions that the controller is capable of. The special buttons on the face of the joypad are: SLOW, PLAY, EDIT, TEACH, STEP, TIME, COPY, DEL which means that gamers can pull of moves, store them, and then replay them ad infinitum. While supplies last, NCS will include a bonus SS Pro Commander Memory Card which plugs into the bottom of the joypad. Optec used to sell the memory cards separately instead of being good blokes and including them with each controller.

Product Condition
NCS' remaining inventory is brand new and factory boxed in the original cardboard containers. The packaging is in very good structural shape but there is denting and scuffing n the cardboard due to years of warehouse-to-warehouse transport and storage. NCS' inventory does not suffer from "sun-fading" which is caused when product are left out in the open so that sunlight bleaches and fades the colors from once-pretty packaging.

Sale Offering
Pricing per SS Pro Commander is set at US$25.90 each. If you reside in the USA, NCS recommends USPS Media Mail shipping for the most economical domestic service. For our customers outside the USA, NCS recommends normal Airmail International service. «Photo Gallery»

SOTW Fighter Stick X Zero 2 for Sega Saturn - Clearance

NCS Sale of the Week Offering: March 15, 2010
Original Release in Japan: August 09, 1996
«©NCSX» Brand new and factory boxed Fighter Stick X Zero 2 for the Sega Saturn which was released roughly 15 years ago. The lollipop-style joystick uses clicky micro-switches and the buttons are the "flat-feeling" variety which aren't too springy but they're just about right. Slap a button and it depresses easily and with a "flat feeling." The joystick and buttons are mounted on a wide base which covers a tabletop or a lap with its girth. Every joystick includes a sheet of Street Fighter Zero 2 decals and a Dan trading card which gives up his background and special moves

Product Condition
NCS' remaining inventory is brand new and factory boxed in the original cardboard container. The condition of the packaging is in excellent structural shape with little to no signs of wear or weathering. Flimsy cardboard retainers inside the box keeps the joystick somewhat stable and secure from shuffling around during shipping but we don't trust their integrity to withstand handling during transit. Due to this lack of trust, NCS will add some additional padding inside the joystick container to ensure that the sticks don't flop around and potentially break while in transit to customers.

Sale Offering
Pricing per Fighter Stick X Zero 2 is set at US$50.90 each. If you reside in the USA, NCS recommends UPS Ground shipping for the most economical domestic service. For our customers outside the USA, NCS recommends normal Airmail International service. «Photo Gallery»

We think the joystick is perfectly fine as is in its natural state but the Fighting Stick SS can be modified as shown on this page. A panel on the lower-middle of the joystick contains eight turbo-fire switches for all of the face buttons.

Product Condition
NCS' remaining inventory is brand new and factory boxed in the original cardboard container. The condition of the packaging is in very good to excellent condition with little to no signs of weathering or denting.
