During normal gaming sessions, we might use a White Gamecube pad but for those times when a little something extra such as rapid-fire is needed, we turn to CyberGadget's Rumble Rapid Controller.
 
    Designed for use with Gamecube games or Virtual Console downloads, the vibration-capable controller features rapid-fire functionality for all of the buttons on the pad. That's not all however. The sensitivity of the analog nub may be adjusted from Low, Normal, or High. The general shape of the controller is similar to a standard GC pad and CyberGadets adds rubberized grips for slippage-free gaming. This item is also known as the Cyber Shindou Controller.

Product Synopsis
   The Guilty Gear fighting game franchise graduates to cel-shaded graphics in the latest game in the series which was released in Japanese arcades on February 20, 2014 and reaches the Playstation 4 on December 4, 2014. «©NCSX» Brand new and factory packaged SS Pro Commander for the Sega Saturn which is the only controller we've ever stocked that is packed with a user manual that's as big as a poster. Really. As big as a poster to explain the myriad functions that the controller is capable of. The special buttons on the face of the joypad are: SLOW, PLAY, EDIT, TEACH, STEP, TIME, COPY, DEL which means that gamers can pull of moves, store them, and then replay them ad infinitum. While supplies last, NCS will include a bonus SS Pro Commander Memory Card which plugs into the bottom of the joypad. Optec used to sell the memory cards separately instead of being good blokes and including them with each controller.

The packaging is in very good structural shape but there is denting and scuffing n the cardboard due to years of warehouse-to-warehouse transport and storage. NCS' inventory does not suffer from "sun-fading" which is caused when product are left out in the open so that sunlight bleaches and fades the colors from once-pretty packaging.

«©NCSX» Brand new and factory packaged PC-Engine Wireless Joypad for use with the PC-Engine. The controller uses 4 AA batteries and transmits signals to the included receiver which plugs into the joypad port. The wireless pad looks like a standard PC-Engine pad except it's thicker on the back side to accommodate the battery compartment and transmitter. The wireless joypad also shares the same functions as the original PC-Engine controller with a turbo function for the I and II buttons.

NCS' remaining inventory is brand new and factory boxed in the original cardboard containers. The packaging is in excellent shape with all remaining inventory in like-new and undamaged condition. The pads were found in the original shipping boxes from Japan with the UPS waybills taped on the outside. Although the pads are new, please note that the glue on the tape that holds a piece of cardboard to the top of the joypad container has deteriorated through the decades. «©NCSX» Brand new and factory packaged BPS MAX controller for the original Famicom and Nintendo Entertainment System. The BPS Max could be considered a precursor or perhaps inspiration for the design sensibilities of the Sony Dual Shock with its stubby finger grips and rectangular shaped main body. In our opinion, the BPS MAX has a built-in learning curve in order to be used properly. A player who grasps the controller for a few minutes and twiddles mindlessly with the red Cycloid Pad might not appreciate how it's supposed to work. Hint: It's not supposed to be shuffled around by its non-centering lonesome.

The Cycloid Pad is surrounded by a "Donut Pad" which works like a standard 8-way D-pad which measures roughly 1" in diameter. You could try to manipulate the Donut Pad by pressing on it directly but that's unwieldy and uncomfortable. For proper usage, situate your thumb upon the Cycloid Pad and press down and move it all around in order to manipulate the Donut Pad. Got it? You're supposed to press on the Cycloid Pad in order to exert control on the surrounding Donut Pad. It's a thing of beauty once you realize how smooth the control mechanism is for shooters, some sports games, and select platform titles on the Famicom and NES. As an extra bonus, a turbo-fire function may be toggled for the "A" and "B" buttons which allows gamers to gun 16 shots per second.

«©NCSX» The product name for MSY's (Mad Catz) Fight Pad for Playstation 3 is unimaginative but it gets the point across succinctly and without a lot of chatter. It's a joypad that's designed for "fighting" but we're confident that "shooting," "running," and even "puzzling" can be conquered by using the Fight Pad. A meaty D-Pad mounted on a circular platform on the left side of the controller allows 8-way directional movement while the six face buttons on the right are arranged in two parallel rows. A turbo-fire option may be toggled so that 18 shots per second are fired by depressing any button. The joypad operates on 2.4GHz and a USB receiver is included with the controller. The likeness of the controller to the original Gameboy handheld is intentional. The "A" and "B" buttons are located on the lower-right corner of the pad but four additional buttons for exclusive use with the SGB are also included as follows:

MUTE-L - Silence the beeps and boops of the Gameboy game in play
SPEED-Y - Toggle between two gradations of the slow-motion feature
COLOR-X - Swap the 4-color palette of the Gameboy game

The d-pad on the left part of the controller is level with the handgrip but the buttons on the right are on an ovoid platform which is angled roughly 20° askew. The pad feels comfortable despite its unconventional design.

«©NCSX» New and factory bagged ASCII Pad V2 Pearl White Controller which NCS originally imported for the original Playstation over eleven years ago. Bet you've never seen a controller sold in a plastic bag before. Well, now you have. Although ASCII generally packaged their joypads in cardboard boxes or plastic retainers, they did ship a limited number of pads that were inserted into thick plastic baggies with a sliding enclosure on top.

The ASCII Pad V2 features turbo-fire toggle switches located on the top center of the pad, an Auto-Fire option, and a design that apes Sony's original Dual Shock design. The control pad is a solid disc with raised directional ridges which we prefer over the "rift-pad" design found on Sony's Dual Shock. «©NCSX» New and factory boxed Sega Saturn Fighting Commander SS Joypad which NCS originally stocked during the heyday of Sega's 16-bit gaming console. Hori designed the Fighting Commander to mimic the basic shape of the original Sega Saturn controller which we still consider to be one of the best for general gaming. NCS' remaining inventory is brand new but please note that the factory boxes have slight imperfections on the cardboard such as dings, creases, or minor color wear due to nearly 15 years in warehouse storage.
The Fighting Commander SS features turbo-fire switches for every button which toggles between two gradations of firing speed. There's also a slow-motion button located on the joypad but we've never used it - never needed to. Please note that the Fighting Commander is a Japanese product and the packaging is in Japanese but it is compatible with all versions of the Sega Saturn, V-Saturn, and Hi-Saturn console hardware.

PC-Engine Blaster Joypad - Clearance

«©NCSX» New and factory boxed PC-Engine Blaster Joypad which was released for the Japanese market nearly 20 years ago. Although the controllers are new, the boxes have slight dings and some very minor color wear. Perhaps in a testament to the longevity of plastic however, the joypads themselves look great with shiny patinas and seem to have just shipped from the factory. Each joypad is wrapped in a little bubblewrap baggie and a 2-page user pamphlet is included inside each box. The back of the packaging lists the original retail price as JPY2880.

The Blaster is designed for use with the PC-Engine console and features the SELECT and RUN button on the center of the controller while the III, II, and I buttons are located on the right side of the pad. Each button may be empowered with turbo-fire by adjusting the slide lever above each one.
