HOME Sega Saturn Digital Weight Scale with BMI Reader (Reissue) - Import Preorder US$98.90

NCS Product Synopsis

When Sega released the Saturn 32-bit console all the way back in November 22, 1994, no one thought that 20+ years hence, the venerable console which played classics such as Virtua Fighter, Radiant Silvergun, and Guardian Heroes would be resurrected for use as a scale. That's right, a scale that weighs whomever lumbers onto its glass-covered gray face. Step on top of Tanita's Sega Saturn Digital Scale and watch the numbers climb into the triple digits as it counts the bulk of your being with the quickness. In addition to weighing subjects, the scale also spits out the body mass index for up to five individuals and saves their personalized profiles.

Preorders are welcome to ship in late September 2018. The first production of the Saturn Scale (reissue) is limited to 1,122 units with allowances for a second production if demand merits. Due to the size of the packaging, NCS recommends shipping by UPS Ground within the continental USA since this item will incur dimensional weight.

TOYS Sega Memorial Saturn ZIPPO Lighter - Sale US$149.90

NCS Product Synopsis
Update: October 23, 2009

Back in the early 90s when we were still dabbling in Zippo lighters, NCS bought USA versions in bulk for under $15 each. Some were as low as $5. Imagine our bewilderment in 1998 when we received a preorder offer from a Japanese vendor for the Beatmania 3rd Mix Zippo. Cost to us? A lofty $60. For a lighter. Sure, the Beatmania lighter was limited to only 500 pieces but it was a Zippo and we normally paid a quarter of that asking price. The Beatmania Zippo was our introduction to Japanese Zippos and over the years, we've imported even pricier models featuring Transformers, Lupin, Final Fantasy, Sakura Taisen, and many more.

NCS imports yet another limited edition Zippo today and this one's a doozy. The price is pretty high but that's because the lighter was limited for sale only on a Banpresto website for a limited time between October 23 to November 6. Add in the unfavorable yen/dollar exchange rate, shipping charges from Japan, and vendor handling costs and we have severe price inflation on our hands. We had to get them for our own collection (the Sega historical vault) however and NCS also imported a sizable quantity for interested customers with refined tastes.

The Sega Saturn Zippo looks like a perfect recreation of Sega's original Japanese 32-bit console which was colored gray. We sold the Saturns for about $600 back in the day and the OG Playstation was about $800. The Zippo's Saturn facade includes the power button, eject, and reset buttons along with the cartridge port on top and snazzy Sega Saturn lettering. The only giveaway that this is a Zippo is the little hinge on the side which allows the top to be popped over so you can light up a cigarette, stave off the cold, or set fire to kindling. Since we got them in time, the Sega Saturn Zippo might be the perfect gift for that special someone in your life who still plays Saturn games. In the basement. Late at night and usually accompanied by Cap'n Crunch cereal with a splash of milk.

SALE Fighter Stick X Zero 2 for Sega Saturn - Sale $55.90 each, free shipping USA

NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» Brand new and factory boxed Fighter Stick X Zero 2 for the Sega Saturn which was released roughly 18 years ago in Japan. The lollipop-style joystick uses clicky micro-switches and the buttons are the "flat-feeling" variety which aren't too springy but they're just about right. Slap a button and it depresses easily and with a "flat feeling." The joystick and buttons are mounted on a wide base which covers a tabletop or a lap with its girth.

Every joystick package includes a sheet of Street Fighter Zero 2 decals and a Dan trading card which gives up his background and an assortment of special moves.

 Product Condition
NCS' remaining inventory is brand new and factory boxed in the original cardboard container. The condition of the packaging is in excellent structural shape with little to no signs of wear or weathering. Flimsy cardboard retainers inside the box keeps the joystick somewhat stable and secure from shuffling around during shipping but we don't trust their integrity to withstand handling during transit. Due to this lack of trust, NCS will add some additional padding inside the joystick container to ensure that the sticks don't flop around and potentially break while in transit to customers.

Pricing per Fighter Stick X Zero 2 is set at US$55.90 each which includes free shipping within the United States.

TEES You Must Play The Sega Saturn Tee - New Import

NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» The last time we heard someone say "You Must Play the Sega Saturn" was about 15 years ago. That was when games like Nights Into Dreams, Burning Rangers, and Willy Wombat compelled us to sit in front of the Saturn and play. Two console generations have ensued since the days of the Saturn but every once in a while, the compulsion to play Willy Wombat rears up and NCS revisits the olden days of 32-bit gaming.

Japanese manufacturer Cospa apparently feels the same way and designs an officially licensed t-shirt which bears imprints of the Saturn console, the Japanese Saturn logo, and a command which reads "You Must Play the Sega Saturn." The shirt is available in mint and white colors along with sizes in Small, Medium, Large, and Extra Large. All preorders have shipped already but please note that we're sold out as of this morning.
