 «©NCSX» Brand new and factory boxed Fighter Stick X Zero 2 for the Sega Saturn which was released roughly 15 years ago. The lollipop-style joystick uses clicky micro-switches and the buttons are the "flat-feeling" variety which aren't too springy but they're just about right. Slap a button and it depresses easily and with a "flat feeling." The joystick and buttons are mounted on a wide base which covers a tabletop or a lap with its girth.

    Every joystick includes a sheet of Street Fighter Zero 2 decals and a Dan trading card which gives up his background and an assortment of special moves.
 
 Product Condition
    NCS' remaining inventory is brand new and factory boxed in the original cardboard container. The condition of the packaging is in excellent structural shape with little to no signs of wear or weathering. Flimsy cardboard retainers inside the box keeps the joystick somewhat stable and secure from shuffling around during shipping but we don't trust their integrity to withstand handling during transit. Due to this lack of trust, NCS will add some additional padding inside the joystick container to ensure that the sticks don't flop around and potentially break while in transit to customers.

ASCII Pad Pingu Version for Playstation - Clearance

«©NCSX» New and factory boxed ASCII Pad Pingu Version for the original Playstation which was released roughly a decade ago. NCS' remaining inventory is in excellent condition but please note that some boxes may have slight corner dings and/or dents caused by years in warehouse storage and warehouse-to-warehouse transportation.

The ASCII Pad looks like Sony's official Dual Shock controller but the finger grips on the bottom of the pad are gone. In their place are stubbier grips which don't provide much surface area to wrap your fingers around. The shell of the controller is transparent so gamers can look inside and see the layout of the pcboard and how the plastic shell has been molded around the innards. It's compelling viewing if you're into stuff like that.

«©NCSX» New and factory bagged ASCII Pad V2 Pearl White Controller which NCS originally imported for the original Playstation over eleven years ago. Bet you've never seen a controller sold in a plastic bag before. Well, now you have. Although ASCII generally packaged their joypads in cardboard boxes or plastic retainers, they did ship a limited number of pads that were inserted into thick plastic baggies with a sliding enclosure on top.

The ASCII Pad V2 features turbo-fire toggle switches located on the top center of the pad, an Auto-Fire option, and a design that apes Sony's original Dual Shock design. The control pad is a solid disc with raised directional ridges which we prefer over the "rift-pad" design found on Sony's Dual Shock. «©NCS» Before Hori took over de-facto production of third party controllers, memory cards, and accessories in Japan, ASCII was the king of the realm. In the 80s and 90s, the company commanded a healthy market share for Famicom, PC-Engine, and Super Famicom accessories.

Today, we offer PC-Engine joysticks that were originally released by ASCII on November 24, 1990. The base of the controller measures 7 3/4 x 6 5/8" and the lollipop-style joystick rises up about 2" from its foundation. Similar to a standard PC-Engine control pad, the ASCII Stick Engine features a turbo-fire function for the buttons but the level of turbo may be adjusted with by twisting two dials for button 1 and 2. «NCS Photo gallery»
