«©NCSX» Jojo's Bizarre Adventure first appeared on Weekly Shonen Jump in 1987 and has enjoyed a healthy run and seven major story arcs since its debut. Jojo no Kimyou na Bouken: Phantom Blood hearkens back to the beginning of the series which introduced Jonathan Joestar and Dio Brando to the world.

 

   The year is 1868 in England and the cries of a baby are heard by a vandal named Dario Brando. He follows the crying to an overturned stagecoach and intends to rob the occupants whom he presumes are dead. He finds a male that is still alive named George Joestar who offers Dario a reward for helping them. Fast forward to 1880 and Dario Brando is dying at bed and tells his son Dio to go to the Joestars to cash in Dario's reward. George Joestar welcomes Dio to the family but son Jonathan is less welcoming when he discovers Dio's true nature.

 

   The game features 27 chapters which tell the complete tale of the Phantom Blood story arc which begins with Jojo defending his girlfriend's honor from two bruisers and goes through all of the major encounters and battles in the game including Jonathan's first battle against Dio. Between the battles, the storyline is laid out in mostly static cut scenes which are brimming with voice acting and sound effects.

His name is Tsunayoshi Sawada and he's the very image of the proverbial 98-pound weakling with no scholastic nor athletic acumen. He's woefully unfit to lead the Vongola Famiglia but due to the lack of candidates, Tsuna has to be the one to take the helm as the 10th Vongola mob boss.    Hitman Reborn! Dream Hyper Battle is a fast-paced 3D fighting game where the cast of the Hitman Reborn franchise bout it out with conventional attacks which are mixed up with special projectile shots. For example, Tsunayoshi can create boulders out of midair and throw them at opponents to literally stone them. Then there's Hayato Gokudera who opens his arms and throws sticks of dynamite into the battlefield which explode seconds later. A cast of over 30 colorful supporting characters are featured in the game including I-Pin, Lambo, Takeshi Yamamoto, and Mukuro Rokudo but note that only four main characters can be chosen in the "Dream Hyper Battle" mode (second selection in the main menu).

«©NCSX» Thirteen years after Seiken Densetsu 2 was released on the Super Famicom, director Koichi Ishii and creative staff craft the latest game in full-fledged 3D. The story focuses on a hero named Eldy who travels with a friend named Ritzia and her pet Rabite who answers to "Pukku." At the outset of the game, Pukku is bounding across the forest and is eventually reunited with its mistress who greets it with cheerful abandon. It runs off again later on and Eldy chases after it. Along the way, he picks up a wooden stick on the ground and eventually encounters a group of easily agitated Mushbooms. Smack them around with the stick and each one is dispatched with three hits each.

 

   The game's first level is a "follow the Rabite" mission where the little beast leads Eldy to different parts of the forest in a seek and destroy mission. Pukku bounds to areas where Mushbooms and birds dwell and Eldy's job is to attack them and clear the wilderness of their presence. Upon completion, follow Pukku again to exit the level and proceed further to new adventures. The game is broken up into mission-based levels where objectives are presented to the player and fulfillment is contingent on meeting the tasks at hand.
