PS2 Hitman Reborn! Dream Hyper Battle - Import Sale $18.90

NCS Product Synopsis
Update: August 30, 2007
«©NCSX»
The Vongola mob's line of succession has been splintered and disheveled due to untimely deaths but there is one who remains in the bloodline. His name is Tsunayoshi Sawada and he's the very image of the proverbial 98-pound weakling with no scholastic nor athletic acumen. He's woefully unfit to lead the Vongola Famiglia but due to the lack of candidates, Tsuna has to be the one to take the helm as the 10th Vongola mob boss. To help him along, a pipsqueak assassin named Reborn is sent to hone and sharpen the future mafiosi into a mob leader supreme.

Hitman Reborn! Dream Hyper Battle is a fast-paced 3D fighting game where the cast of the Hitman Reborn franchise bout it out with conventional attacks which are mixed up with special projectile shots. For example, Tsunayoshi can create boulders out of midair and throw them at opponents to literally stone them. Then there's Hayato Gokudera who opens his arms and throws sticks of dynamite into the battlefield which explode seconds later. A cast of over 30 colorful supporting characters are featured in the game including I-Pin, Lambo, Takeshi Yamamoto, and Mukuro Rokudo but note that only four main characters can be chosen in the "Dream Hyper Battle" mode (second selection in the main menu).

Hitman Reborn! Kindan no Yami no Delta - New, In Stock

«©NCSX» Taking place during the Future Arc of the Hitman Reborn! serial, the latest game based on the popular franchise features fast and fluid 3D fighting action. As the story goes, a triangular-shaped container called the Delta Box has been discovered in the future and agents from the main Mafia families are all in a mad dash to procure it for themselves. The Delta Box exhibits strange and powerful properties which are demonstrated in the introductory sequence of the game. Since it is the Future Arc, Tsuna is a powered-up version of himself and this is evident during the first battle against Gokudera. Tsuna can thrust around the battlefield and wallop his opponents with explosive attacks. Gokudera's dynamite-throwing antics just aren't any match against a firebrand like Tsuna.

The 16 fighters in the game are culled from the Hitman mange/anime series and include Yamamoto, Dino, Lambo, Chrome, Hibari, and more. At the outset of the game, a total of 11 fighters are selectable but 5 must be unlocked before they're playable. Along with one-on-one mission-based battles, teams of fighters also go to war within an expansive 3D battlefield. Hitman Reborn features the "Battle Range System" where attacks may be customized in term of Short, Middle, and Long range offensive moves.

Katekyoo Hitman Reborn! Battle Arena - New, Restock Soon

In episode #74 of the Hitman Reborn animated serial, both Reborn and Tsuna are shot by Lambo's "Ten Year Bazooka" and are sent one decade into the future. The incident kicked off the "Future Arc" where the two unlikely gangland heroes dealt with their unusual predicament, handled assorted drama, and contended with the Millefiore Family. The PSP Hitman Reborn Battle Arena game features a brand new story set within the Future Arc where Tsuna and other characters from the series battle each other in 2D fighting action.

The cast of Hitman Reborn! fight with conventional attacks as well as their individual special skills. The game runs quick and smooth with fighters who move with slick animation. Tsunayoshi "Tsuna" Sawada is the hero of the animated series but the game features a cast of the major players in the "Future Arc". We found it interesting that Tsuna has a heels-over-head backflip-kick move that's similar to what Sarah Bryant does in Virtua Fighter. The other fighters in the game can perform forward-running punches, fireball throws, and a dragon-esque punch.

In addition to the usual cast, a unique fighter may be created from over 1000 parts from the default characters such as Tsuna, Kyoya Hibari, Hayato Gokudera,
Xanxus, Chrome Dokuro, and more. The ad hoc mode allows two players to fight against each other in a Versus Mode in case the COM-controlled combatants aren't up to your level of competency.
