«©NCSX» The life of a trucker is fraught with human drama, hauling cargo, battling rivals, listening the drone of the road, and the occasional love confession from a coworker. If all that sounds good then Grand Trucker Aniki might just be your cup of tea. Players work for a company that provides transport services for their customers. Whether it be hauling perishable seafood or popular consumer products, players move cargo from point A to point B in a safe and timely manner.

   In addition to driving the truck, there's mini-games where players operate a forklift inside the warehouse, wash the truck, and perform maintenance on the rig. When it's time for a romance with a coworker, truckers may drive to their favorite spots such as a ramen shop where the eats are cheap or to an upscale restaurant if they've acquired a taste for the good life.
 

   Preorders included a bonus miniature truck toy that's being given away in 1:1 ratio. Please note that the trucks are no longer available as of December 13, 2023. Gave away the last one yesterday.

«©NCSX» Shooters such as R-Type aren't normally genre-twisted into real-time strategy games but that's exactly what Irem did with their classic shmup. In the original R-Type Tactics (R-Type Command for us Yanks), players marshaled a contingent of fighters into the heart of the Bydo Empire to do some damage. The game was played on tactical grids with turn-based battle sequences. In the sequel to R-Type Tactics which is subtitled "Operation Bitter Chocolate," humanity has amassed an impressive arsenal of weapons after their war with the Bydo.

With all those weapons at their disposal and no one to use them against, man starts bickering against his fellow man. The bickering leads to battles which leads to further full-on military engagements where armadas are arrayed against opposing armadas. The Bydo were threatening the extinction of the human race and they were alien empire that could be eradicated without remorse. When man battles against man, the agenda isn't extinction but domination. Or maybe some people are just mean.

Players marshal R-Type ships once again on tactical grids where weapons are blasted, ships are deployed, and the units are used in an intelligent manner so as to guarantee success against the enemy. In addition to attack ships, repair vehicles and refueling vessels are available for well-rounded tactical strategizing. With this in mind, players enter the world of A Ressha de Gyoukou DS as the president of a railway company whose mission is to encourage urban growth and development by expanding the railway system.

As president of the company, players have access to a secretary, managers, and even conductors who relay the state of operations back to headquarters. A versatile camera system allows gamers to keep an eye on the city and the train system as it is built to make sure everything flows together nicely. The game is controlled entirely through the touch pen which is used to lay down miles of track, perform banking duties, and manage projects with a few taps and drags on the touch screen.

The game features over 120 wrestlers including a kick-boxing ginger named Makoto Kondou, an aspiring young grappler named Kazuki Aiba, and a cool-headed technical wrestler named Toshimi Minami.

At the outset of the game, players recruit the girls from a pool of wrestling wannabes and then put them through a practice regimen to hone their abilities. The in-ring action is played in flick-action interaction sequences where players choose a move for the wrestler and watch it play out on the screen. A variety of grappling moves is available to each wrestler to mix up the wrestling theatrics. The publisher touts 80 different moves which are accompanied by animation sequences.

Tryfirst hired over 50 voice actresses to provide speech for the wrestlers to add extra spirit and verve to the game. Early preorders will include a bonus Wrestle Angels 2 Voice CD in 100% ratio.

A newly orphaned young girl has been rescued by the Man-Animal known as Cube but he's not very good with children. Instead of looking after the tyke himself, Cube requests your help to raise the girl from lil' orphan to a strapping young woman who's ready to conquer the world...

Princess Maker 5 was originally released on the Japanese PC last year and for the PS2 earlier this year. Taking place in modern day Japan, the little girl has access to contrivances such as television, cell phones, and the internet which may affect her pathway to adulthood. Similar to previous PM games, players interact with their adopted daughter and give her guidance as well as instruction so she grows up a certain way. Outside influences include friends that she meets at school and the aforementioned internet. A total of 102 different characters that populate the game world will provide the little Princess with advice, encouragement, and other feedback which all contribute to her growth.

New to Princess Maker 5 is the ability to play as a matronly mother or a doting father. It's not all work however since leisure time comes in the form of vacations which include a scuba diving sojourn, a visit to hot springs, a ski trip, and even a safari adventure. Depending on the girl's upbringing, she can become a gravure idol, wrestler, a musician, model, soldier, nurse, fortune teller, blushing bride, Evangelion handler, and many others for a total of 50+ possible endings.
