PSP R-Type Tactics II: Operation Bitter Chocolate - JPN Preorder

NCS Preorder Synopsis
«©NCSX» Shooters such as R-Type aren't normally genre-twisted into real-time strategy games but that's exactly what Irem did with their classic shmup. In the original R-Type Tactics (R-Type Command for us Yanks), players marshaled a contingent of fighters into the heart of the Bydo Empire to do some damage. The game was played on tactical grids with turn-based battle sequences. In the sequel to R-Type Tactics which is subtitled "Operation Bitter Chocolate," humanity has amassed an impressive arsenal of weapons after their war with the Bydo.

With all those weapons at their disposal and no one to use them against, man starts bickering against his fellow man. The bickering leads to battles which leads to further full-on military engagements where armadas are arrayed against opposing armadas. The Bydo were threatening the extinction of the human race and they were alien empire that could be eradicated without remorse. When man battles against man, the agenda isn't extinction but domination. Or maybe some people are just mean.

Players marshal R-Type ships once again on tactical grids where weapons are blasted, ships are deployed, and the units are used in an intelligent manner so as to guarantee success against the enemy. In addition to attack ships, repair vehicles and refueling vessels are available for well-rounded tactical strategizing. Preorders are welcome to ship on October 29, 2009 at JPY4800 or US$53.90 from NCS.

Tactics Layer Ritelina Guard Senki - New Import, In Stock

«©NCSX» On a world in crisis that's beset by Satan (who looks like a hipster) and his demonic cohorts, the denizens cry out for help. That call is answered by an unsuspecting traveler from another world. A heroine named Lisa is destined to save the world from ruin and she's going to accomplish that ponderous endeavor by way of cosplay. By wearing different uniforms, Lisa gains the abilities that each uniform symbolizes and encompasses. For example, when Lisa dons her nurse costume, he can heal members of her party while one of the offensive powers of the sailor suit is a commuter stampede of salarymen and students. Lisa's party includes a heroine named Jericho who can wear a J-Pop-ish outfit which allows her to perform music attacks. Tactics Layer plies the S-RPG trade with maps that are isometric and parties that face off against each other on grid-based battlefields.

Eiyuu Senki Leavadein - New Import, Ships Today

«©NCSX» In Gungho's new tactical strategy game, heroes lead small contingents of soldiers into battle against other similarly sized enemy contingents. We'd liken it to a medieval version of Advance Wars since the attack and counterattack phases play out the same way. Each hero starts off with an miniature army of seven or eight soldiers. When attacking another mini enemy army, the first strike knocks out a few of the enemy soldiers and then they counterattack. Each attack goes on for three rounds before the turn ends. The goal is to defeat the leader of the soldiers by diminishing his HP to zero. Similar to Advance Wars, units and HP can be replenished by resting in a base or fortress which also adds an extra measure of protection against enemy attacks.
