PS3 Arcana Heart 3 Hori Real Arcade Pro - New Import
«©NCSX» Hori takes the Real Arcade Pro 3 joystick, paints it red, and pastes Arcana Heart 3 artwork on top. For added value, Hori also throws in not one but two sheets of colorful Arcana Heart decals. The decals may be applied to the surface of the joystick although we wouldn't recommend it.
A housing in the back of the joystick stores the USB cable when its not in use so that there's noticeably less clutter with this version of the HRAP3. Hand grips on both sides of the joystick also allow for easier hefting when moving the stick around. All 8-buttons on the joystick may be set to auto-fire. All preorders are shipping this afternoon.

X360 Real Arcade Pro VX SA - Import Preorder

NCS Preorder Synopsis
«©NCSX» The Hori Real Arcade Pro.3 series of controllers gave gamers a taste of mass-produced arcade quality joysticks and it's safe to say that sales have exceeded expectations. Hori revamped the Real Arcade Pro series with Taito's Viewlix button array on the recent PS3 Real Arcade Pro V3 SA and they give the same treatment to an Xbox 360 version of the stick later this Spring. Painted off-white instead of the black PS3 V3, the VX SA features an 8-button (Sanwa) Viewlix layout and a Sanwa JLF-TP-8YT-SK-W lollipop joystick. A Turbo-fire mode with 2 speed settings (10 or 20 shots per second) and a headphone jack are also built-into the stick. Preorders ship in mid-late April 2010 at JPY14,800 or US$189.90 from NCS.

HORI Tekken 6 Real Arcade Pro Joysticks - New Import

NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» Tekken 6 was a big deal when it was released last week and we're still playing the game. Our mileage for a new title is usually about 2 hours before we go on to the next game. Tekken 6 is special and Hori grabs a piece of that action by releasing a pair of Tekken 6 themed Real Arcade Pro joysticks which arrived on Monday. All preorders have shipped already and new orders are welcome for dispatch today.
» Real Arcade Pro 3 Tekken 6 Version for Playstation 3
Standard HRAP3 that's been Tekken-ized with a faceplate that depicts three principal characters from the game. The artwork is intentionally dark to give the fighters an ominous presence.
» Real Arcade Pro EX Tekken 6 Version for Xbox 360
Standard HRAP.EX which features the same artwork that's on the Playstation 3 version of the HRAP.

«©NCSX» A new production of the Hori Real Arcade Pro joysticks for the PS3 and Xbox 360 are slated for release in mid June and early July respectively. Please note that the supplies are being described by the distributor as "very limited" which probably means we won't get all of our requested quantities but we've submitted our numbers already yesterday and we're hoping for the best. The following are being manufactured again:
» PS3 Hori Real Arcade Pro 3 Joystick - Shipping in mid June 2009
» UPC: 873124001822 / SKU: UHP3-07 / Price: US$129.90
» X360 Hori Real Arcade Pro EX Joystick - Shipping in early July 2009
» UPC: 873124001815 / SKU: UHX3-10 / Price: US$139.90
Hori is also releasing another batch of the PS3 Fighting Stick 3 and the X360 Fighting Stick EX2 but we're not really interested in either of them since the RAPs are where it's at.
Preorders are welcome to ship according to the dates listed above. If anything changes between now and then, we'll post an update.

Hori Real Arcade Pro EX SE - Import Preorder

«©NCSX» Hori opened up preorders yesterday for the www.horistore.com exclusive RAP.EX SE which uses genuine Seimetsu buttons and a lollipop-style joystick. That means you won't have to mod a standard Hori RAP EX stick with coin-op quality parts to get that special tactile arcade feel. Besides, modding a joystick can potentially lead to fatigue, wayward solder, a broken joystick, and consequently a broken heart. Why risk it?
The upcoming Hori Real Arcade Pro EX SE is based on the same form-factor as earlier RAPs and sports a 3m (9.83') cord. Preorders are welcome to ship on or around Feb 5, 2009. Due to the heavy weight of the joystick, NCS recommends only shipping by UPS Ground within the United States. Pricing reflects yen conversion, our vendor's deputy surcharge, and overnight shipping from Japan to the USA.

General Updates
Hori Real Arcade Pro Stick - Orange The new HRAP-Orange is an Amazon Japan exclusive item which was released yesterday. We'll be receiving our entire batch on Monday. We had them flown into the country with overnight express but we probably should have used a more economical shipping service in light of the hefty fuel surcharges being assessed nowadays.. Preorders are welcome to ship on July 21, 2008 at US$135.90 each + shipping. NCS recommends UPS Ground for customers who reside within the continental UPS to avoid onerous air service charges.
Japanese PSN Tickets PSN Tickets in the JPY3000 and JPY5000 denominations have been restocked yet again and all backorders have been processed as of yesterday afternoon. Since the same inquiries continue to pop up, please note: If you're using a Hotmail or Yahoo email account, check your Junk E-mail folder for the ticket if it isn't in your Inbox. Our fulfillment email contains a GIF scan (since it's a non-lossy image format) of the actual ticket with the code boxed within a red rectangle for your visual convenience. The scan is sent as an image attachment embedded in the email which may trigger spam filters.
Oneechanbara Search, Find, Get!! We located a batch of old Oneechanbara Simple 2000 games in Japan a few days ago. It's odd how some things work out since we were looking for a better condition copy of one of the titles for our private Oneechanbara collection. We'll list what's still available next week when we receive the restock shipment. We've also restocked new replacement Neo-Geo CD AC Adapters and new Neo-Geo AES memory cards. They'll probably be on the SOTDs for next week if we don't keep them for own use.
Famitsu Magazine Vol. 1024 The latest issue of Weekly Famitsu (Cover Date: August 1, 2008) which was released yesterday in Japan will be sent to subscribers today. Notable features in the magazine include a spread on Dragon Quest V and continuing coverage on Persona 4 for the Playstation 2. We'll post up a more detailed synopsis and larger scans on Monday. Due to the fleeting nature of gaming periodicals, NCS is not keeping any new issues of Famitsu in stock and only yearly subscriptions are being processed for every weekly issue. New subscriptions are welcome but please note that your first issue will begin in 2 weeks.
