«©NCSX» Enterbrain celebrates the 1200th issue of their long-running Famitsu magazine with two bonuses as follows:

   The bonuses are given away separately from the magazine and we'll bundle them securely in each shipment. NCS is sold out today, as is Enterbrain, but we should be able to restock a few additional copies next week for new orders.

   The December 15, 2011 issue of Weekly Famitsu is the 1200th volume of the magazine and the editors include a 12 year retrospective of the top 100 games from each year since the year 2000 to the year 2011. That's a total of 1200 games that Famitsu considers the best of the best in each of the past 12 years. The rest of the magazine includes coverage of the following:

PS3 Kidou Senshi Gundam Extreme VS - New Import

«©NCSX» Swinging energy swords and blistering laser rifles were in motion in Bandai's Gundam Extreme VS. game which captivated arcade players with its snappy controls and intense action. A Playstation 3 conversion is in the works which gives games access to the excitement and thrills of the coin-op without the grizzly crowds, the pushy patrons, and the constant need to feed the machine. Gundam Extreme VS. features 57 mechs and 2-on-2 team combat which opens up a medley of strategies and tactics to use on the battlefield.

   Gundam Extreme VS was released in 2010 by developer Capcom and publisher Namco Bandai Games and Linkin Park supplied the game's theme song, 'The Catalyst.' A new Gundam mech called 'Extreme' is introduced which wields a guitar-shaped rifle and a shield that's shaped like a guitar case. It's capable of really shredding its foes...

«©NCSX» Japanese toy manufacturer Embrace Japan presents the 'Metal Slug 4 Fiolina Germi' 1/8 scale fixed-pose figure which measures 20cm or 7.9" tall. Fio is a gun-toting female protagonist from the Metal Slug games where she takes on armies of enemy grunts wearing a pair of khaki shorts, a tank top, and a flimsy flak jacket. In her toy sculpture incarnation, Fio is her regulation issue self with questionable combat 'fatigues' and an Uzi on hand. In addition to the Fiolina figure, a miniature Metal Slug SV-001 tank, a length of bridge, and a miniature POW hostage figure are included inside the retail packaging.

TOYS Neko to Kiba - Import Preorder

 «©NCSX» A mangy cat plush mounts a rocking horse in SK Japan’s ‘Neko to Kiba’ toy prize which ships in December 2011. By pressing a button positioned inside the cat's left leg, a motor inside the feline is activated which causes the cat to rock back and forth in haunting fashion. Each toy measures L20 x W10 x H27cm in dimension.

    The ‘toy prize’ designation means that these toys are normally distributed to amusement centers in Japan and serve as the premium prizes that may be bought when players win tokens by winning games of chance and skill. Toy prizes are also placed inside UFO Catcher machines where players attempt to pick them up with a mechanical claw.
