Fate Hollow Ataraxia: Saber Maid Version - Preorder

Alter's interpretation of Saber of Fate Stay Night fame gets her out of the blue suit of armor and into a frilly maid's outfit. The blonde warrior also trades in her armaments for a mop. Saber stands with panty-hosed-covered legs apart and rests both hands atop the handle of a cleaning instrument.

A bucket of water is nowhere to be seen but you can probably buy a toy pail from a USA toy shop or make your own. We're going to use a soda bottle cap and fill it with orange detergent. A blue bow keeps the back of Saber's hair together so that it forms a compact bun. The figure is set at 1/6 scale and measures 26cm or 10.23" tall from her feet to the top of her maid's doily/cap.

Saber Maid was originally released last year but is being reissued in December 2008 by the manufacturer.
Preorders are welcome to ship in mid-late December 2008 at JPY8000 or US$78.90 from NCS.

Pac-Man Cushions [Set of Two] - Clearance

Original Update: September 7, 2005
«©NCSX» Looking more like a massive cheesecake than Namco's legendary eater, the Pac-Man cushion serves as a resilient pillow/futon/seat to lounge upon. Stack five on top of each other to create an unwieldy Pac-Man tower which may be useful as a chair or lay them side by side to create a makeshift mattress for munchkins and other wee beings. Sadly, Namco didn't produce any dot plushes for those who would recreate Pac-Man in their living rooms. Two sizes are available: A 25cm cushion which clocks in at 9.84" and a 35cm big'un which converts to 13.77" diameter.

Sale Offer
NCS' remaining inventory of the Pac-Man Cushions is new, bagged in plastic, and in mint condition. Price: US$29.90 for both 25cm and 35cm cushions which includes "free shipping" within the United States by USPS Media Mail Service. «Larger Photos»

Star Wars USB Hub - New Import, In Stock

You could be like everyone else and buy a boxy USB hub that was designed by an engineer. A by-the-book engineer who wears a polyvinyl pocket protector that holds exactly five Energel 0.5mm ballpoint pens.

You could also pay tribute to your Star Wars inner geek by snagging an R2-D2 or Darth Vader USB Hub. If you should opt for the R2-D2 version, you'll get four USB ports to plug devices into and a little droid which swivels its dome and makes beep-boop sounds. Purchasers of the Darth Vader USB Hub will also get four USB ports but instead of a little droid, they'll get the ominous visage of the dark Jedi Knight with blinking red eyes.

Pricing in Japan is set at JPY7140 (ouch) or US$73.90 and new orders are welcome to ship today. «View two videos and photo gallery»

Secret Game: Killer Queen LE - New Import, In Stock

Thirteen average citizens have been kidnapped and holed up in a room within a building. No one remembers how they got there but everyone has been given a compact personal digital assistant. On that PDA is an assignment and a single card (2-10, Jack, Queen, King, or Ace). For example, the person who holds the Queen PDA has to survive for 2 days and 23 hours while the holder of the King PDA must obtain 5 other PDAs.

To add a wrinkle to their collective dilemma, everyone in the room has also been latched with an electronic necklace which encircles their necks. Each person must complete their assigned objective within 3 days or the electronic device will effectively decapitate the wearer.

By using interactive conversation and choices, the protagonist Sakumi Himehagi navigates through the four scenarios in the adventure. Since some of the characters in the game have been given objectives that require sabotage and murder, the interaction with those characters may not be straightforward or safe. Killer Queen also features the "Bet System" where players may wager on which character survives the Secret Game. The limited edition of Killer Queen includes a bonus Original Soundtrack.
