GEAR Beer Hour Gokuwa Bar Server - Import Preorder US$49.90

Product Synopsis 
   Takara Tomy has dabbled in the market for beer foaming gadgets such as the Sonic Hour before but they're back with the somewhat more appropriately named Beer Hour Gokuwa Bar Server which uses ultrasonic vibrations to agitate the beer so that a healthy head of froth assembles at the top of your beverage container. The Bar Server accepts an aluminum can on the specially fitted receptacle of the device and by nudging the lever below the spout, beer flows from the can into your glass in foamy and sudsy glory.

«©NCSX» During the winter months, the heat in our office building gets cranked up pretty high so that the air becomes dry and uncomfortable. It's a relative scorcher indoors whilst the temperatures outdoors are freezing . To alleviate the problem of arid office air, NCS doesn't use a humidifier. We just go around each room with an olde school atomizer and mist the air a few times every day. That routine might be coming to an end however since Taito has started preorders for an R2-D2 USB Humidifier which features wicking action. Roughly 8 ounces of water is stored in R2-D2's lil' body which is wicked into a filter where it is blown into the air by fan power. The humidifier doesn't require batteries and is powered by plugging it into any USB port. Preorders are welcome to ship in November 2009.

Uruoi Kuucan Personal Humidifier - Import Preorder

«©NCSX» During the winter, the heat from a radiator or other heating unit can make the air indoors rather arid. One solution to the dry air is a personal ultrasonic humidifier from Takara Tomy that's designed to look like a can of green tea beverage. The Uruoi Kuucan also serves up some aromatherapy to freshen up the local area atmosphere. Batteries are not required for operation since the humidifier plugs into any USB port.

Face Bank Dodeka - New Import, In Stock

«©NCSX» The original Face Bank was released in Japan about a year ago by Takada/Bandai and sales have been strong. The piggy bank features the flattened face of a simian creature of some sort which wraps around a plastic wedge. The eyes embedded on the front are optical sensors which trigger the mouth to start "chewing" whenever motion is detected. Once the Face Bank is masticating, drop coins into its mouth so that it seemingly chews them up and deposits them into its gullet. It's not only creepy but a bit surreal as well to watch Face Bank do its thing. A number of color variants have since reached market to appeal to a wide range of sensibilities and preferences.

That was the old Face Bank. Takada releases a larger version which they're calling Face Bank Dodeka. Whereas the original measured an equal 97cm in height, width, and length, the new Dodeka variant measures 140cm all around and includes a voice mechanism so that it'll belch and mutter various utterances which make it even more creepy. The new Face Bank can store up to 180 coins that measure at least 2.6cm in diameter which means quarter, nickels, and dimes will all fit. Two color variants are available and shipping today - a red Face Bank and an off-white version.

Each keychain measures W6 x D3.5 x H10cm or 2.36 x 1.37 x 3.93" in dimension. The keychains resemble baubles and light up with an eerie blue luminescence. Indiana Jones Room Light - New Import, Sold Out

Light up the night with one of two oddly appointed artifacts which were featured in the Indiana Jones movies. Each idol measures approximately 18cm or 7.08" tall and runs on a pair of AA batteries. The two artifacts are:

1) Crystal Skull from the recent Kingdom of the Crystal Skull movie
2) Golden Idol of a Fertility Goddess from the Raiders of the Lost Ark

The artifacts sit on top of a circular base which holds the batteries and an ON/OFF switch on the back toggles the light on and off. The preorder solicitation depicted the Crystal Skull as a whitish-blue color but the final product is tinted a striking blue color which lights up nicely.
