 «©NCSX» In the Persona 3 game,Aegis is an android who battles the dastardly Shadows with a volatile range of weaponry. Her prerogative in the game is to protect the protagonist of Persona 3 and she serves in that capacity with able-bodied determination. NCS took delivery of Max Factory's figma rendition of Aegis late last year and in a few months, we'll bring in Cospa's EX Resinya version of the blonde Shadow-killer.

    Cospa's known more for their apparel and accessories than their toys but the Aegis Resinya sculpture is an ambitious piece of work. The figure is mounted on an overly ornate vehicle and she's standing on one hoof. Aegis' left hand is pointed at something in the distance but she doesn't have any fingers - there's only miniature gun barrels that are ready to let loose. Her right hand is smoking and bullets are scattered in the air around the wisps of smoke.

Dressed in tight leather and powerful, Metis is also an android who's on a mission to destroy the members of the Special Extracurricular Activities Club at Gekko High School. Aegis won't allow Metis to exterminate her friends so another solution is explored...

   Orchid Seed's (Sakurako Ishinaga) interpretation of Metis measures 22cm or 8.67" tall and the figure is clad in a skintight body suit that's evocative of super-shiny pleather. A golden helmet sits on top of her head with the visor lifted up and Metis' limbs are non-articulated so she's strictly fixed-posed. Three additional faces are included in the packaging along with two weapon/rod accessories and a red display base.

Note: NCS' remaining inventory is new and in the factory boxes but please note there are slight dings and dents on the cardboard containers caused during shipping from overseas.

«©NCSX» The beautiful seaside city of Minato-ku serves as the backdrop for the latest Persona adventure where players adopt the role of a transfer student who commutes daily from dormitory to school. Persona 3 introduces creatures known as Shadows which appear during the midnight hour and wreak all manner of havoc. To combat the threat, the protagonist teams up with fellow students including Yukari Takeba, Mitsuru Kirijo, and Junpei Iori who all have the power of Persona and the ability to battle the Shadows.

Max Factory has started preorders for a figma rendition of Aegis that looks pretty good from the perfectly coiffed head sculpt to the hooves. That's right, Aegis doesn't have feet. She has hooves.

«©NCSX» In the Persona 3 video game, Elizabeth is a boss character who throws piercing projectile attacks and calls upon different forms to vary her method of attack. She's an interesting boss who's tough to beat but you'll win a very nice bonus if you manage to defeat her.

Alter sculpts and releases a 1/8 scale Elizabeth figure which measures 22cm or 8.66" tall. Liz is dressed like a futuristic air stewardess and carries her book of spells "Le Grimoire de Couer" on her left arm. The characters and demons from all Megami Taisen (MegaTen) games have a distinctive style about them thanks to the artistic stylings of Kazuma Kaneko and his cohort Soejima Shigenori.

As far as gingers go, Mitsuru Kirijou of Persona 3 fame is one of the more exotic creatures this side of Nihon. There are exactly zero ethnic Japanese folk who possess the recessive gene that engenders red hair but there she is. Maybe she's part Ainu. Throw in a pair of blood red pupils and Mitsuru is almost otherworldly except she's just your average girl with a penchant for slaying demons...

Kotobukiya's Mitsuru Kirijou figure from last year was one of our best selling toys next to the Kinu Nishimura Mai Shiranui figure and CGC Poison. It's the kind of figure that stokes the fan base and forces buyers to flick open their wallets. Similar to Koyori and KOS-MOS, you can never have enough Mitsuru so Alter announces a new 1/8 scale PVC figure which features the redheaded heroine in fixed pose grandeur. The new Mitsuru measures 21cm tall or 8.26" tall and ships with extra parts so her pose can be changed somewhat. Mitsuru can grip a sword or a pistol which are also included. Persona 3: Mitsuru Kirijo 1/7 scale Figure

In the Persona 3 video game, a brunette named Yukari Takeba and a redhead named Mitsuru Kirijo are the first two characters that the protagonist encounters. Yukari's an attractive girl but Mitsuru is in a whole other league by herself.

Kotobukiya apparently agrees and announces a 1/7 scale Mitsuru Kirijo fixed-pose figure where the fiery-maned demon slayer wields a sword while a white holster is wrapped below her waist. Inside the holster is a gun which may be swapped with the sword. The Mitsuru figure measures 21cm (8.26") tall and a circular base is included for mounting and display purposes.
