   FAST STRIKER is a 2D arcade shooting game with emphasis on scoring originally developed for NEO·GEO. The game lets the player choose between 3 game modes with different scoring systems. Novice Mode for beginners, Original Mode for classic Shoot' em Up players and Maniac for very experienced players. It features six stages of excellent 2D arcade game play with over 40 unique enemy types, super smooth 3D scrolling backgrounds, huge CGI bosses and it features the biggest megabit count ever since the beginning of NEO·GEO games. FAST STRIKER will be ready for release on Dreamcast in Winter 2010.

   The original shipment from NGDEV was delivered today. All preorders for the regular edition and limited edition which includes a professionally printed Original Soundtrack CD / OST and variant cover artwork are shipping today.

NEWS General Updates

Arcana Heart 3 - Remaining shipments on Monday «©NCSX» Due to a late flight out of Tokyo, please note that the remaining shipments of Arcana Heart 3 will arrive on Monday. The NYC snow doesn't appear to have been a factor since the origin of the delay was in Japan.

Fast Striker    NGDev contacted us yesterday about the delay. Hopefully the shipment arrives later this afternoon and we'll be able to process and ship preorders.

NCSX.COM down    The server that runs www.ncsx.com went down last night at 3:29AM EST. We think the battery died again even though we replaced it just a couple of months ago. The colocation center person there thinks the server is draining batteries quicker than usual so we'll look into that. In the meantime, we'll probably move the entire site to another server today so it might be down until tomorrow morning. The shopping sites at www.ncsxshop.com and www.shopncsx.com are up along with the blog.

NEWS General Updates

Slow Striker «©NCSX» Our shipments of DC Fast Striker are still in transit from NGDEV but they should arrive this week. We'll probably never use DHL for European shipments again but the Christmas and New Year holidays were likely factors in the slow delivery.

Holiday in Japan Yesterday    We forgot that every second Monday in January is Seijin no Hi or Coming of Age Day in Japan... which sort of messed up this week's early release chances for Arcana Heart 3. Due to the holiday yesterday, all new releases are on regular delivery schedule for later this week.

Nintendo 3DS    Preorders for the Japanese version of the Nintendo 3DS should kick off next week if alerts from suppliers are correct. We watched a bunch of the Nintendo World 2011 exhibitions over the weekend and Kid Icarus 3DS looks good.

UPS Holiday Update    UPS is delivering UPS Ground packages on Friday of this week but they are not picking up any Ground packages for dispatch.
