Last year, Taito released the
Teresa Sensor Light
into the Japanese market which glowed with
haunting illumination whenever someone walked in
front of it. This year, Taito's Teresa encore is
the King Teresa Sensor Light which is
larger, wears a crown, and flaps out a tongue at
passersby. King Teresa measures 22cm (8.85") in
diameter as opposed to 16cm (6.29") for the
standard Teresa Light. The sensor on the King
Teresa Light detects movement within a
40° arc in front of the base
and the internal light is triggered whenever a
cat, a person, or a pooch traipses within this
range.
Preorders are welcome to ship in late
August 2013 at US$28.90 per light.
