«©NCSX» Originally released for mobile-phones in the summer of 2009, Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded is undergoing the remake treatment and will be playable on the Nintendo DS later this year. In the game, players take control of Sora who explores a Heartless-challenged Traverse Town which is in need of a fix. Since Sora and his keyblade are so versatile, he's assigned the task of making things right in the embattled First District of Traverse Town and other worlds. King Mickey, Donald Duck, Goofy, Alice, and other Disneyland friends return in the role of supporting cast mates.
Early preorders will ship with a bonus Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded branded "Eco" Bag that's being given away by Square Enix in 50% ratio. Ever since the "green movement" and the concept of a "carbon footprint" took hold, Eco Bags have been fashionable in Japan which are meant to replace the wasteful plastic bags that are given away at shopping venues. Those plastic bags invariably end up in a whale's blowhole, suffocate baby birds, or wrap themselves around a little seal's neck.
