«©NCSX» Square Enix teams up with V-Jump Magazine to bring a new RPG to the Japanese marketplace. The game plays like any standard adventure game where players create and customize a hero or heroine and then sail off onto a world of adventure. Where Cross Treasures derails the standard RPG convention is its built-in world editor where players can select the flowers, floorboards, trees, chunks of land, weapons, armor, and more for their own custom-crafted RPG world. Once created, up to four players can play a collaborative or competitive adventure in the networking mode of the game (selectable on the top title screen game option, lower right icon). At the outset of a single player game, players disembark from a ship and explore a quaint village and the first dungeon - the entrance of which is located inside a domicile. One of the first battles is against a green rhinoceros beetle but spelunk further and you'll encounter big angry fish...
