«©NCSX» Targeted squarely at the fairer sex, Pretty Rhythm Collection is a cornucopia of gaming that's designed to appeal to girls. There's dancing, shopping, dressing up, decorating, and accessorizing all packed in a little game card. The dancing is in the form of a rhythm action game where touch screen taps and sliding motions are used to trigger cues. The publisher Santa Entertainment makes a point of mentioning that a professional dancer was motion-captured to ensure that the girls in the game move realistically. By dancing well, credits are won which may be used to purchase items and clothing. The shopping portion of the game takes place in well stocked stores where clothes and shoes are stocked to the rafters. Once a selection of apparel is procured, the clothing may be organized and hung on virtual hangers which in turn hang from pink trellises. A Story Mode is also included where players take on the role of a middle school transfer student.
