    Shin Hokuto no Musou and the Treasure Box have shipped last night but reservations are welcome for the Shin Hokuto no Musou Legend Edition which includes a PS3 250GB console decorated with images of the characters from the Hokuto no Ken game, a specially detailed Dual Shock 3 controller, and a copy of the Shin Hokuto no Musou game.

TOYS Star Wars Light-Up Saber Chopsticks - Product Recall by Kotobukiya

NCS Product Update
    According to our Japanese toy distributor, the recently released Star Wars Light-Up Saber Chopsticks are being recalled by Kotobukiya due to a manufacturing defect. We're waiting for full details concerning the nature of the defect but all shipments of this product are being recalled and any shipments that are already in transit will have to be sent back due to what the distributor is describing as 'electrical issues.' We were hoping to get reservations for the chopsticks shipped out this week ahead of the Christmas holiday but this is a pipe dream at this point. Kotobukiya is allowing shipments to be returned up until June 2013 for the recall.

    We're speculating that some early users of the chopsticks were being shocked by an electrical charge as they lifted saucy ramen noodles from a steaming bowl to their eager lips but that's just our wild-eyed speculation. We'll post additional information tomorrow when we receive a copy of Kotobukiya's recall letter to Japanese retailers but all reservations for the chopsticks will be placed on hold and we'll process orders when the fixed chopsticks ship from Kotobukiya.

A chain is attached to each puffy sticker for tethering purposes and reservations are welcome for each set of 10 at JPY4,200 or US$50.90. 

SALE Super Mario Bros. 25th Anniversary Pin Badge Set - Import Offer

    New and factory boxed official 'Super Mario Bros. 25th Anniversary Pin Badge Set' which was offered exclusively by Club Nintendo for their Platinum Level customers in Japan. The set is still packaged in the original Club Nintendo mailer as photographed below and a total of 25 pin badges are packaged in the six containers inside the box.

    Please note NCS is supplying the official Nintendo version of the pin badges. There was a counterfeit version made of this item which may be found on Ebay where the colors of the boxes are different from the box colors shown below in photos #3 and #4. The counterfeit version features boxes which are single-color only whereas the official version's boxes are multi-colored as shown below.
