«©NCSX» Japanese toy manufacturer Embrace Japan presents the 'Metal Slug 4 Fiolina Germi' 1/8 scale fixed-pose figure which measures 20cm or 7.9" tall. Fio is a gun-toting female protagonist from the Metal Slug games where she takes on armies of enemy grunts wearing a pair of khaki shorts, a tank top, and a flimsy flak jacket. In her toy sculpture incarnation, Fio is her regulation issue self with questionable combat 'fatigues' and an Uzi on hand. In addition to the Fiolina figure, a miniature Metal Slug SV-001 tank, a length of bridge, and a miniature POW hostage figure are included inside the retail packaging.

   Preorders are welcome to ship in March 2012 at JPY8800 or US$119.90 from NCS. Due to the size of this item, NCS recommends UPS Ground for shipments within the continental United States.

TOYS Neko to Kiba - Import Preorder

 «©NCSX» A mangy cat plush mounts a rocking horse in SK Japan’s ‘Neko to Kiba’ toy prize which ships in December 2011. By pressing a button positioned inside the cat's left leg, a motor inside the feline is activated which causes the cat to rock back and forth in haunting fashion. Each toy measures L20 x W10 x H27cm in dimension.

    The ‘toy prize’ designation means that these toys are normally distributed to amusement centers in Japan and serve as the premium prizes that may be bought when players win tokens by winning games of chance and skill. Toy prizes are also placed inside UFO Catcher machines where players attempt to pick them up with a mechanical claw.

    Preorders for the Neko to Kiba are welcome to ship in late December 2011 at US$23.90 each.

VITA Playstation Vita - Import Update

«©NCSX» Due to the incompatibility of the Japanese 3G/WiFi Vita with 3G networks outside of Japan, NCS is switching all preorders over to the WiFi version of the Playstation Vita hardware. The pricing of the WiFi Vita is set at US$479.90 and reservations will be ratcheted down to the new price level.

   An email has also been sent this morning to everyone on our reservation list with the notification of the WiFi switchover. Please reply at your convenience to re-confirm your preorder and we'll begin shipping them in mid-December 2011 when they launch in Japan.

   If you wish to keep your preorder for the 3G/WiFi Vita because you plan on visiting Japan one day, please respond to our email instructing us to retain your original 3G/WiFi reservation as-is. Since the release date of the Japanese Vita falls on a Saturday (December 17, 2011), NCS expects our initial shipments to arrive on December 20-21. If vendors are able to export out of Japan sooner than December 17, we'll post an update.

«©NCSX» Luffy and company are back in a new 3D action game where 40 playable characters join up in tag-team battles against opponents. Shanks and X-Drake joins the cast of fighters along with supporting cast members such as Dadan, Hawkins, Tashigi, Foxy, Rayleigh, and Bepo. New stages featured in the game include Grey Terminal and Deep Sunny Sea. Bandai introduces a new mode in the game called, "New World Domination Mode" where fights travel to various stages to challenge bosses for the title of strongest brawler. A Wi-Fi function allows players to battle online.

   In addition to the regular edition of the game, orders are welcome for a limited edition which includes a One Piece Masterpiece Monkey D. Luffy Special Color Version figure which measures 25cm tall.
