Animal Crossing Ichiban Kuji Mugs

After a quick sell out this past April, NCS was able to locate a supplier with available stock of the Animal Crossing mugs. The mugs are from the Animal Crossing Ichiban Kuji set which was sold in Japan as a massive collection of plush toys, mugs, and straps. The mugs measure 9cm or 3.54" tall and three varieties are available as follows:

A) Futa and Fuko aka Blathers and Celeste
B) Tanukichi aka Tom Nook
C) Totakeke aka KK Slider

Pricing is set at US$10 per mug. View a photo gallery of the mugs.

Animal Crossing Ichiban Kuji Plushes

One of the conditions of purchasing the Animal Crossing Ichiban Kuji set from the manufacturer is that everything must be purchased that's part of the set. EVERYTHING. That means hundreds of straps (that we don't want), hundreds of plushes (that we sort of want), and the highly desired mugs (that everyone wants). The entire set is spread out across 15 cartons at a dear cost but that's the nature of business. Three plushes from the set are on offer today as follows:

Tom Nook - This raccoon measures 15.74" tall with a head that 11" wide
Blathers - The talkative owl is 11.81" tall and his head is 8.5" wide
KK Slider - A mere 7.8" tall but the dog sits on a chair and wields an axe

Pricing is variable and a photo gallery is available for viewing.

Ontama Onpu Shima Hen

Trek to the Onpuu Islands and use the stylus to tap or capture creatures and send them off the screen. Once that's done, hit the matching arrow cues as they move from right to left on the conveyer track located at the top of the screen. The creatures appear in the center area of the touch screen and you'll have to tap or draw circles around each one. If multiple creatures of the same color appear, it's possible to circle them all to send them away. Each tapped creature is accompanied by an arrow cue. When you hit the arrow cues, you'll be rewarded with a "Good," "Great," or "Master" rating on the upper left corner of the screen. While the puzzle action is happening, your onscreen character and opponent both slowly dance and steps around in the background. «more»

Kekkaishi: Karasumori Ayakashi Kidan + Bonus

Yoshimori Sumimura hails from a long line of sorcerers entrusted with the protection of a mysterious power that was once held within a feudal lord. When the lord was killed five centuries ago, his remnants and attendant power were interred at a location known as Karasumori. Since that time, the Hazama family has protected the site from invading monsters known as Ayakashi who would excavate and use that buried power for their own nefarious ends.
As the story begins, Yoshimori Sumimura is the 22nd Kekkaishi who's been charged with protecting the site. Along with his pet demon dog Madarao and his friend Tokine Yukimura, Yoshimori stops the Ayakashi forces at Karasumori Academy from taking over a great power.

Dr. Slump Super DX Dekai Unchi Cushion

Banpresto knows its audience. Year after year, the company publishes Super Robot Wars games, manufactures hundreds of plushes, and peddles pretty much every toy under the sun. Since Banpresto is innately in tune with the market, they've announced a very large cushion which is based on the Mr. Slump Unchi-kun character who lives in Senbe Norimaki's toilet. Measuring a massive 30cm or 11.81" tall and nearly as wide, Unchi-kun is colored pink and is blessed with a facial expression that only select members of the general population can appreciate. Preorders are welcome to ship in mid-late November 2007 at US$33 per plush.

Dr. Slump Unchi Ga Hikaru

When a scientist named Senbe Norimaki relieved himself in the woods, he gave birth to a strange life-form named Unchi-kun. Discovered by a robot girl named Arale Norimaki, Unchi-kun is brought home to live with its master. Banpresto has announced a "Shining Unchi" which floats in water and is fitted with a light inside so that it illuminates your bathtub like a miniature star. Preorders ship in Dec 2007.
