Amusement Washing Machine by Lee Wei Chen

Lee Wei Chen, a Masters by Research design student at Kingston University in southwest London has integrated a washing machine into an upright arcade game cabinet. That's not all however, he's also connected the circuitry and components of the arcade game to the washing machine so that a wash cycle is dependent on the player's performance in the arcade game. To start the washer, a total of 3 pound sterling coins are inserted into the machine which grants the player three lives. The game starts along with the wash cycle but if the player's performance falters during the game, the washing machine demands more coins before the wash cycle resumes.

iPad iNVADERCADE U.K.

A campy commercial released by Square Enix UK on September 22, 2011 without any information may indicate that the iNVADERCADE cabinet for use with the iPad may be headed to the European marketplace. It'll probably be just as expensive as the exorbitant Japanese version which NCS started preorders for last week.

   “A Light in the Darkness’ main action takes place approx. 1 year BBY on a small planet in the Outer Rim. A young boy watches the Jedi who saved his people be killed by the very clones who once fought by his side. Years later, as a member of a small insurgency against the empire he and his team hatch a new plan to take back their planet by drawing the attention of the newly formed rebel alliance.
   Armed with the fallen Jedi’s light saber, he and his team battle to strike fear into the local imperial garrison, and overthrow their despotic governor. Their silent attacks give birth to a legend, and the people speak of a phantom Jedi whose spirit has returned.”

NEWS General Update

Old Site Retirement
   The old NCS site (this one) will be retired in the next few weeks. We've built something else that should be implemented some time in October. We already have a bunch of other sites that we operate including communities, forums, directories, etc but the new site will a continuation of this one albeit in easier-to-navigate form. The entire old site will still be available online and linked from the new site so that archaic entries from 1996 like this one can still haunt us. The blue background on that linked page was suggested by the guy who built the original site. He probably thought black text on a blue background was cool.

«©NCSX» Five average schoolgirls transform into girlish shinobi with ample bosoms in Marvelous' Senran Kagura Shoujotachi no Shinei. The girls take up the sword and engage in a side-scrolling hack 'n slash action game where armies of costumed foes are whacked away with sword strokes. In addition to conventional attacks, the girls may perform juggling combos the deal substantially more damage. When engaged in battle, heroines who take a full-on hit will find their clothing shattering so they'll wander around in their skivvies. The characters in the game were designed by Nan Yaegashi and the plot was written by Yukinori Kitajima of Okamiden and 428 fame.
