For the entrance fee of less than $60, you'll be able to play six shogi experts/celebrities including Yoshiharu Habu whose playing styles have been programmed into Mainichi's Shogi Dojo Master Battle Toudai. In addition to their playing styles, the experts' voices are also included for extra ambience. Game modes include "Tournament," "Quiz Mode," "Tutorial," and a standard "Toudai Chess" mode. Preorders are welcome to ship on April 21, 2011.

PS3 Troy Musou - Preorder
In Warriors: Legends of Troy, two great armies clash not over home and country, but for the love of a single woman. X360 Bullet Soul Tama Tamashii - Preorder Update
«©NCSX» You remember Super Star Soldier, right? Well, probably not. It's been over 20 years since Hudson released SSS on the PC-Engine and 5 years since it was made available on Virtual Console. Even if you don't remember SSS, we're here to tell you that it was/is a fairly intense shooter.
5pb remembers Star Soldier... so much, that they're paying homage to the game by way of an upcoming Xbox 360 shooter dubbed Bullet Soul Tama Tamashii. Similar to SSS, Bullet Soul is a vertical shooter where the enemies swoop in and unleash a barrage of buckshot. Unlike SSS however, Bullet Soul adds a new wrinkle to the shooting action where enemy bullets are rendered harmless and "ghosted" when the source of said bullets is destroyed. By collecting the ghost bullets, the player's Soul Gauge fills up and the score multiplier is ramped up for mega scoring opportunities. The game features three selectable heroes and an Arcade Mode as well as a Boss Rush Mode to mix up the antics.
The first printing of Bullet Soul includes a bonus Original Soundtrack with tracks composed by Kenji Itou and Kouta Takahashi who make up the group RESONATOR. Preorders are welcome to ship on April 7, 2011.
X360 Phantom Breaker - Preorder
«©NCSX» Girl fighting game. Those three words once drew scorn from Street Fighter and Tekken adherents but the likes of Advanced Variable Geo on the original Playstation and Arcana Heart gave respectability to the category. 5pb's joining the fun by developing an original girl fighting game which features an all-female cast of archetypal fighters.
Phantom Breaker is described as a simple fighting game with easy controls but sophisticated tactics. In other words, it's a game that beginners can pick up and play but has enough depth to draw in hardcore fighting game fans. Sounds like a keeper already. Ten fighters are selectable and each girl can choose to perform "quick" attacks or "hard" attacks during the character selection process. Quick smacks are fast and impact only a little damage while hard attacks can be countered by the opponent but do a lot more damage. In addition to the regular edition, a limited edition of Phantom Breaker is available for preorder which includes a bonus Soundtrack CD and an alternate game jacket. Preorders are welcome to ship on April 28, 2011 at JPY8190 or US$88.90 from NCS.
TOYS Macross Frontier Osan Neck Speaker - Preorder
«©NCSX» When headphones aren't enough to blast music into your skull, there's always the neck speaker. You read that right, neck speaker. Shaped like a horseshoe and fitted with shoulder struts, the neck speaker wraps around one's neck and blasts music upwards into your ears. Who would wear such a contraption? If you're in a car, bus, or plane, the neck speaker gives you a little extra padding when you're lying back against your seat. Playing music while resting and disturbing the other passengers however, is probably against social norms and graces. Preorders for the Macross Frontier Osan Neck Speaker are welcome to ship in June 2011 at US$28.90 from NCS.
