«©NCSX» Remember the Love Plus+ NDSi LLs from a few months ago? NCS was lucky enough to know people who knew people who were able to get them for us. Later this month, another highly exclusive limited edition NDSi LL is being released by Nintendo and NCS will probably be able to import at least three of them. Maybe more but we've submitted our preorder request last night and preorders are welcome starting today.
Pricing is currently set at US$438.90 per DSi LL Super Mario 25th Anniversary Model and reservations are welcome to ship on October 28, 2010. Please note that pricing may change depending on the market situation but we're fairly certain that the price will stay at the listed level. That is, as long as the yen doesn't perform a power-thrust-move against the dollar within the next 2 weeks. Cross your fingers. Please note that Nintendo will also release this version of the DSi LL in Europe.

As the story goes, Tetsuro hopes to transfer his consciousness into a mechanical body by taking a ride to the Andromeda Galaxy. On the way to his personal salvation, his mother is murdered by a ruthless hunter named Count Mecha. Tetsuro vows revenge but he meets a woman named Maetel who gives him a pass on the Galaxy Express which will lead him to the Andomeda Galaxy and grant him immortality. On the way there, Tetsuro and Maetel visit numerous planets and gain important life experiences. The NDS game features the voice cast from the animated series, a 4-player competitive board game, and a Data Collection which contains information on events, characters, and items from the Galaxy Express 999 serial.

«©NCSX» Nintendo celebrates Mario's 25th Anniversary this year and they've announced a few products to commemorate the event already. Console-wise, there's only one Mario 25th Anniversary product and it's the crimson-tinted console seen to the left. Buyers who are courageous enough to pay the piper will get a Wii encased in red plastic, a red Remote and Nunchuk, and special Mario 25th anniversary packaging.
NCS is undecided on whether or not we'll keep one for our Mario vault in the basement. We wanted a Nintendo console that's colored red and blue to match Mario's overalls and shirt. Maybe we'll get our wish on Mario's 30th anniversary. Preorders are welcome to ship on October 28, 2010. Please note that Nintendo will also be releasing this console outside of Japan for the European marketplace.
